  1. o lol I was being facetious. If you listen to more of the stuff on my soundcloud I don't think you'll find it has much of a home in many venues.
  2. Is it ONLY R&B or can you include hiphop too?

    Hi everyone

Aye lad welcome. If that's what you're looking for then you've found it!
  8. lol I don't think it'll be anything bigtime. I wasn't even remixing expecting that was a possible outcome, tbh.
  9. You know what would be an interesting experiment? Showing someone who has never heard any of the genres (like some tribesman) and getting him/her to sort them into groups how they think they should be.
  10. Just got told this will be included as the closing track on his next album release.
  11. Wrapped your link in soundcloud tags
  12. A remix for Dirk Maassen. Original: https://soundcloud.com/ascoltadi/dirk-maassen-open-collab-white Remix: http://soundcloud.com/cupe/dirk-maassen-white-remix
  13. I haven't even looked into it, so I don't have an opinion on either side of the fence.
  14. What's the big deal about a factory reset? How many custom things have you got on it atm?
  15. List is (obv) not exhaustive. Click for full-size. Start the slinging immediately.
  16. And Sol would know this how? Should he also have a different opinion depending on who he is talking to? Is well known that the intended recipient of these funds, the artists get nothing. All money is eaten up by admin and bureaucracy costs. Happy for any of our successful producers to inform me otherwise if this isn't the case... But that's a discussion for another thread. It's in the users profile he is directing the comments at. Not a different opinion but a bit of fucking maturity maybe.
  17. There not a government agency they can't enforce shit. All those licences are just well marketed scams IMO Great comments aimed towards the chairman, sol.
  18. Take a break from production duties and watch this street busker kick it 4/4 style on a makeshift drum kit before groaning and considering another occupation other than electronic music. Really proving you don’t need much more than a couple of empty buckets, this resourceful street performer slams out 5:00 minutes of alternating and progressive drum beats. Dance and electronic music in general has always revolved around drums so it’s no surprise he’s able to replicate similar sounds to modern day tracks, albeit a little rougher. It doesn’t matter how many times you watch it though, you have to wonder how they keep up the pace with what looks like very little effort. Killer stuff! Someone hook this guy up with Ableton, Logic or Fruityloops already. Source: stoneyroads.com

  24. Some of you may remember a few weeks back when we shared news of MusicInk, an Italian product that was helping school children learn about music by playing pieces of paper connected using conductive paint. In that article, we mentioned how cool it would be if we could one day make our own MIDI controllers out of just this conductive paint and pieces of paper, and, as it turns out, that’s kind of already happening thanks to the Touch Board. Currently in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign that has well exceeded its fundraising goals, the Touch Board—developed by Bare Conductive—serves as an electrical routing board of sorts which can interpret the various signals sent via the company’s conductive paint into signals for things like doorbells, light switches, and—here’s the best part—MIDI. So essentially, once these things start shipping, it is conceivable that you’ll be able to draw your own MIDI controller, with a few extra components, of course. Still, how rad is that? For more information on the Touch Board, you can check the video below and head over to the project’s Kickstarter page, where there are still a few days left to contribute and claim one of the first Touch Boards for your own experiments. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/863 ... everywhere
