Release notes from Pioneer

1.Fixed an issue where rekordbox would crash when exporting tracks.

2.Fixed an issue where the enlarged waveform on the CDJ would be incorrect by 1 frame when using the ProDJ Link.

3.Fixed an issue where the CDJ would freeze when using the ProDJ LINK if the FOLDER category was at the top of the active category list in rekordbox.

4.Fixed an issue where rekordbox would store incorrect information in the RELEASE DATA field.

● rekordbox now supports Mac OSX 10.8 and Windows 8.

What's new in rekordbox Ver.2.0.1

●rekordbox supports features of CDJ-2000nexus.

(1) Enlarged waveform display for the CDJ-2000nexus during the analysing process.

(2) Make an "Active Loop" for use on the CDJ-2000nexus.

(3) Select if "Hot Cues" load automatically on the CDJ-2000nexus.

(4) CDJ-2000nexus "Utility Menu" settings can be managed and exported using "My Settings".

(5) When using the "Pro DJ Link" rekordbox can act as the Master BPM deck.

●Key Detection added during the analysing process.

●The option "Property" has been added to the menu when you right click a track that will open the "Info" screen.

●First beat of the bar displayed.

●Set the first beat of the bar in "Adjust BPM / Beat Grid Mode".

●The BPM range has been increased from 180 to 499 (the maximum BPM during the analysing process remains at 180).

●1 minute markers are displayed on the waveform.

●Quantize is on by default. Only when you turn "Quantize" off on the player will "Quantize" not work.

●Fixed an issue where rekordbox would crash if "Cue" information was damaged on a "Device".

●Fixed an issue where rekordbox would replace artwork with the incorrect artwork on a "Device".

●Fixed an issue where "Artist Names" would be replaced with "Album Names" when reloading a tag after editing the "Album Names" field.

●Fixed an issue where "Genre" would be replaced when browsing with the arrow keys on a Mac.

●Fixed an issue where "Playlists" would be incorrectly displayed on a "Device" when overwriting the playlist more than 16,000 times.

●Fixed an issue where the "Link" button would not be displayed when using the "Pro DJ Link".

●Fixed an issue where rekordbox would crash when tracks are deleted in a certain way.

Just updating now, finally seems since 2.0.2 its been fairly solid, and 2.0.3 is mainly bug fixes so hopefully its good.

Will report back with how it goes.

Will do it tonight, i had noticed it being better stability wise, a little quicker with exporting/analysing, i seem to get more information issues now though ike missing keys and stuff.

since they brought out key analysis in version 2, the key field doesn't show the keys written to the key field by rekordbox properly.

Haven't looked into it much though

It also killed the key field from MIK on some tracks, might have to rewrite my whole library to the comments again

That's what i was meaning.

What i've been doing is sorting my rekordbox library by comments, then just selecting all the ones that are the same key by looking at comments field, and adding it in manually

Yeah that's a decent work around, preferred it when the keyfield worked automatically but oh well.

Any stats on how good Rekordbox's key analysis is?

Haven't seen any official stats yet, however quite a few are switching to it for the simplicity (1 less program to run tracks through

That's fair enough, i still need MIK for mashups and crap anyway.

I just download the track sort it into the relevant genre folder then run my whole music folder thorugh mik once a week or so.
