Afroman arrested for punching woman on stage

Recommended Posts

In a shocking outburst of violence, 'Because I Got High' rapper Afroman has punched a woman who joined him on stage without notice, knocking her to the floor.

Video of the incident shows that the Grammy nominee, whose real name is Joseph Edgar Foreman, was playing a guitar solo when a fan began dancing near him. Without warning, Foreman swung around and hit the woman in the face, then went back to performing as the dazed fan left the stage.

The gig was soon shut down, however, and Foreman was escorted from the Mississippi venue by security. He was later placed under arrest by police, charged with assault and released after posting a $330 bond.

A rep for the musician released a statement saying that the incident was out of character and was the result of reflex, suggesting a lack of security was a factor.

"This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space," the statement read.

"It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."

my own opinion, what a whale
