Firstly let me say that I'm not knocking Senheizers, they are great, its what I first learned with.

However I've been really stoked with my Audio-Technica's, (plus they are camo which is pretty dope!) which only cost me $120AUS from the UK. Wicked bang for your buck and only weighing 250gms. http://www.juno.co.uk/products/audio-technica-athpro5-mkii-monitor-headphones-camouflage/420999-01/

I made the switch from pioneer hdj1000s to hd25s after they were broken during stereo pres last year

better sound quality

dont get sick of wearing after 10 mins on the train

lighter

smaller cup (perfect size imo)

i hate big cups though!

Yeh i found the HDJ1000's a lot heavier, and the HDJ200s to be the same. The HD25's are a perfect weight IMO
