As well as running his, Electronic Petz imprint, a label, which delivers fresh contemporary house cuts, and has introduced many newcomers onto the scene. The original mix of title cut, ‘Durian’, kicks things off here, a dark and brooding number, employing punchy, raw drums, cavernous background atmospherics, crunchy saw-wave bass and bubbling vocal lines, to create a tripped out gritty house number. The Ultrasone duo, notably known for their work on Visionquest and Supplement Facts, rework ‘Durian’ into a low-slung ethereal workout next, stripping back the vibe with sparse, soft, and jazzy drums, while a hooky organ and whispering pads add a soulful, deep texture to the record, as expected the reshape is emotive and melodically stunning. Up next is the second original cut from SLOK, entitled ‘Keep Moving’, a great follow up from the Ultrasone mix as Russo delves into a minimalistic vibe himself this time. Simple 4/4 beats lay in the background, while rolling sub bass tones, elongated echoes and sporadic synth sweeps run alongside murmuring low-pitched vocals, again resulting in a moody dance-floor ready house record. Culprit’s, Droog, stick their original contemporary stamp on ‘Keep Moving’ to follow, the trio take snippets from the original track, but add their unique characteristics to things, with intricate, ever-evolving synth lines brilliantly warbling in pitch, and a dropped tempo vibe, allowing the melodies to really bloom. Finally to close the single is ‘You Got It’, which sees SLOK offer up a stunningly contrasting record, as he fuses organic percussion, fluttering disco synths and penetrating bass stabs to create a perfect closer for the EP. SLOK’s ‘Durian’ EP is out on Turquoise Blue 26th September (Vinyl) and 14th October (Digital) 2013. Tracklist 1. Durian (Original Mix) 2. Durian (Ultrasone Remix) 3. Keep Moving (Original Mix) 4. Keep Moving (Droog Remix) 5. You Got It (Original Mix) Available on vinyl 27th Sept and digital 14th Oct Artist Info: http://www.facebook.com/slokmusicpage / http://www.beatport.com/artist/slok/11164 / http://www.slok.it / http://soundloud.com/slok

After a natural change to electronic and 'Personal House Music' beats and sounds in 2006, the international club hit 'Lonely Child', released with the collaboration of Satoshi Tomiie & Hector Romero's SAW Recordings label (DEFMIX Production), boosted his musical career quickly. His discography also includes releases and remixes on such esteemed records labels like Get Physical Music, My Favorite Robot, Circle Music, Harthouse, Baroque, Turbo, OM, Plastic Fantastic (Stereonova), Futic Tokyo and more. He currently runs on his own imprint Electronic Petz, a structure created for supporting brand new talented electronic music minds. In 2010 he released two different albums: 'RAIN', for Alex Flatner's label and 'The Fat Pasta Grooves' for Electronic Petz. LUKAS GREENBERG /// Lukas Greenberg definitely is no newcomer in the electronic music scene. He started his career in the early 90ies as a hip hop dj, become 1994 a techno & house dj and played at famous venues like the tresor, 90Grad and KitKat. Quite a lot residencies and years of dance floor experience brought him to own productions which he started on an Atari Mega 2. He founded his label "Synphon Records" and received remix requests from Peter Schilling amongst others. It's easy to see that after more than ten years in the business his musical background is based on a broad variety of influences and styles – so is his music and what else than Plastic City could be the perfect platform for the height of his creativity. With his first album “Rhode Stories” Lukas Greenberg received a lot of attention and convinced the critics (e.g. “Rhode Stories” was record of the month in Raveline). The mixture of house, easy listening, electro and downbeat combined with soulful vocals and spoken words opened a new chapter of relaxed and at the same time still deep sound on Plastic City. The tracks from Lukas Greenberg are solid, emotional and straight with a touch of naturalism. For the new album “Prisoner With A Key” he improves that concept from his first album “Rhode Stories”: Spreading out his facilities in combining and creating sounds, he wrotes chapters for his new "book of sounds". The chronological order of the tracks is his story of the second step of his musical work on Plastic City. For this album, Lukas Greenberg worked together again with the singer and electronic musician Karl Jenkins aka Ideophonic from Great Britain, who was also part of the “Rhode Stories” production process before. Furthermore he engaged the vocalist Nica Brooke, who is working on her new album at the moment together with Grammy Award winner Don Mizell. The result is a great combination of warm, bright and tight tracks which we inclined to call album art. “Prisoner With A Key” is also a real masterpiece on account of metamorphosing jazz, funk and soul elements into a new and electronic surrounding. This album is a must have for everybody who does not want to miss the next step of high quality electronic music: intelligent, complex and absolutely deep!

Actually, he would open his first Italian restaurant in Paris. BORIS BREJCHA /// Born in 1981, Boris Brejcha started his musical education in his childhood. He was educated playing drums and keyboard which had been a perfect schooling for the following chapter - producing and performing electronic dance music. A former electronic radio show on Radio RPR MAXIMAL RPR1 piques his curiosity of this new and exciting kind of music that he fell in love with. From this time he began to express his creativity with his computer and with one of the first Cubase versions. His first two releases, "Monster" and "Yellow I am a fagget" had been released on the Berlin label Autist-Records. They both reached immediately the head of the download charts on many digital music platforms. Boris Brejcha combines his sound with a maximum of variety which has no peer. Each song is some kind of its own adventure. Once in a relation with elements of electro, break beats, IDM, or sometimes with small Ambient parts. Juno Song by Ashley Albritton is a heads down tech house track laced with uplifting analog pads and filtered synth stabs. Onetram’s remix adds funky drums and a deep spacey afterhours vibe. No Soul to Sell’s everglades remix is a haunting abstract interpretation suitable for darker and more twisted dancefloors. Featured Artist Info: http://www.djashleyalbritton.com | http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ashley/124992180859127 | http://www.djonetram.com | http://www.nosoultosell.com Label: http://www.electronicpetz.com | Artwork by Real DC: http://www.realdc.it Biographies: Ashley Albritton: Ashely Albritton is a musician, producer, and DJ from Tampa, FL where he currently resides. He has been making electronic music for eleven years now and djing for nearly as long. His sound ranges from house to techno with emphasis on layered grooves, deep basses and hypnotic synths. He spent his teens playing in bands and teaching himself classical guitar. While in college wasting time obtaining a physics degree Ashley learned the art of producing, focusing on drum and bass and hip-hop at first, eventually discovering house music. He was first exposed to minimal house and techno at a festival in Holland followed by a week in Ibiza. From this point on Ashley focused his productions towards house, favoring a stripped back sound influenced by heavy percussion and bass. Ashley moved to Oakland, California in 2007 to get involved in the music scene in the San Francisco Bay Area. He gained experience and refined his skills at 222 Hyde in San Francisco and The Oasis in Oakland, as well as countless afterhours and undergrounds. The opportunity to listen to and play alongside the Bay Areas finest techno and house DJs every week was an education to say the least. 2011 sees Ashley working hard in the studio making new music and refining his sound. His studio has evolved away from software and towards hardware synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines. He is currently collaborating and working on remixes with DJ Onetram from France and No Soul To Sell, from Florida. Ashley is proud to have recently joined the Electronic Petz family, with the Juno Song EP coming out in March 2011. Onetram: Dj/Producer/Audio Engineer Martin Longhi alias Onetram, has followed the path of music since birth. Interested in all styles of music he began his dj career in 2000 following the legendary path of scratching in the DMC championships, guided by LIttle Mike (Birdy Nam Nam), Djill (DMC France Champion) & Hitch (DMC france champion 1999). With his career on stage in Paris, Onetram sets out to make an impression within the French Minimal/Electro scene with his furious scratching, playing with DJ Terry (freak & chic), Small (Brique Rouge/Catwash rec.) and Dyed Soundorom (Circoloco/DC10). Within months he was wielding his weapons at clubs suchs as Le 287, Le Redlight, Les Baines Douche, Le Pink Paradise with artists such as David Vendetta, Uffie, Busy P., Dyed Soundorum, Dee Nice, Anthony Collins and more...In 2005, Onetram had his first residencies at Vinyl Club (Paris) with the great ‘Versus’ Party and at the mythic club Les Baines Douches (Paris) where 1000 people followed him every week. He is currently a resident DJ of the Sex A Pills Crew, which organizes events at Redlight with Djs like, Delon & Dalcan, Tom Pooks, and Scarlett Etienne, and many others. Onetram is serious about his production, because with his first title he creates his own style, a mixture of chic Electro and a old school Hip-Hop influenced by his career and his meetings. In 2007 he built his own recording studio, where he mixed international artists and currently works with DJ Maia K (FR), Dries Tessen (BLG), The Crownless Queen (US) and Mikix the Cat (FR/Trouble & Bass) October 2008, sees his first release with «People EP» featuring the Crownless Queen (California USA) - (The Family Records Italy) and a few monce later «Insomnia EP» (Physical Gravity Rec. UK), Still Cookin Records (Lisat & Voltax, Oliver Koletzki, Markus Lange) et System Recordings (Miss Kittin, James Holden, Sasha & John Digweed) Never satisfied with his musical thirst, in 2009 Onetram created the Minimind Project to expand the ideas, techniques, and possibilities of music creation. Consisting of individual artists, the goal of this collective gathers the influences and musical perceptions of each member to constantly advance the creation of music. No Soul To Sell: No Soul To Sell, aka DJ Phase, is a DJ/Producer/Remixer residing in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He began mixing records and producing music in 1993, after seeing a live performance by Moby and Young American Primitive at a late night venue in Cocoa Beach called MARZ. Mixing came natural to him and it wasn't long before he was throwing it down next to some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as The Chemical Bros, RUN DMC, Cosmic Baby and Spacetime Continuum, just to name a few. From 1994-1997, he held residencies in Orlando, Florida at the world renowned Club at Firestone, House of Blues, Icon, Zinc Bar, Knock Knock, Ultraviolet and the Pine Street Lounge, under the name DJ Phase. No Soul To Sell is focused primarily on the Minimal Techno and Deep House genres. His biggest influences today are Boris Brejcha, Gaiser, Inxec, Lee Jones, Maetrik, Trentemoller and Zhao. The latest release from No Soul To Sell, aka DJ Phase, is the Sibilance EP, available for download at Beatport, Juno Download and iTunes. The Sibilance Original Mix is a collaboration of No Soul To Sell and Doria. Also included in the Sibilance EP are original songs and remixes by Joe Morgan. The Juno Song EP is set to release soon on Electronic Petz. Juno Song was written and produced by Ashley Albritton and the EP will include remixes by No Soul To Sell and Onetram. More details to follow. Currently, No Soul To Sell is working on Peach Fuzz, a new EP to include remixes by Ashley Albritton and Joe Morgan. Album: Better Never than Later EP Label: Electronic Petz | Cat : EP058 Style: Deep House / Tech House Tracks: Better Never Than Later, Nepean Island Release Date: February 18th, 2011 PREVIEW: http://soundcloud.com/electronicpetzmus ... tter-never Description: First EP release for the Canadian Duo EZLV on the SLOK's imprint Electronic Petz. 'Better Never Than Later' EP contains two magnificent, atmospheric, tech, deep house tracks. EZLV: Ezekiel and Louis Vee met in 2005; the idea of a DJ duo started to grow. Ezekiel started to mix in Montreal raves at the end of the 1990s at 15 years old. During this period, Louis Vee was building a solid knowledge base in electronic music while learning music production. The partnership benefited both quickly as they learn from one another. It is in 2007 that the duo was formed, when Ezekiel and Louis Vee decided to become one: Ezlv. Influenced by artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Matthew Dear, Super Flu or Anja Schneider, the duo distinguishes itself notably by the technical know how of the two DJ, and for their eclecticism of their musical styles that they experiment with, from minimal to tech-house, going through techno to deep house. They distinguished themselves over time as DJs in multiple raves, bars or clubs, namely in Montreal, Munich or Prague. Ezlv doesn't restrict itself to being a DJ duo, as they also touch on music production. Artist Info: www.ezlv.net | Label: www.electronicpetz.com | Artwork by Real DC: www.realdc.it
