Thanks guys, I'd be using Serato so it would probably be best to go the 850s. 900s or even 2000s WOULD be optimal lol however, one needs plenty of money to afford those and I'm restricting my budget to no more than $1500, and I sincerely doubt I would find 900s with that budget

Are CDJ 850s just as good as 1000s? Are they better? Worse? Need to know ASAP. Sorry for the crappy question

Hey guys and girls out there, I have recently sold my Stanton STR8.150s to a mate of mine and I was wondering what to buy to replace them from the CDJ range (just because it's industry standard). I have about $1200 at the moment but I'm willing to up that to $1500 if necessary. I'm currently using Serato and I am planning to keep using it. I was looking for 1000s or even 900s but it's not a definite. Would appreciate some feedback, Cheers

cheers for that, but I didn't really want the mixer, I've already got a good vestax mixer. I was able to sell my vinyls today so I was hoping to get some CDJs ASAP

hey man they're still up for sale, I've had a couple of people interested in them, unfortunately they don't come with serato...still need it lol. They come with the cartridges don't worry Let me know if you're interested

if you want to know the difference between the CDJ2000 & and the 900s then this article pretty much sums up the differences http://blog.radio4by4.com/2009/09/new-p ... j-900.html if you wanna know the difference between the djm's im sure you can find a heap of articles comparing the two, personally though, I reckon that the 2000 is a massive waste of money, the 800 does the job perfectly but if you want something more recent then by all means go for the 900 it's just that it will cost a pretty penny

Like I said, I'm selling 2 X Stanton STR8.150s plus a road case, they are both in perfect working condition. I've only had the one year, message me if you're in the need of them
