Since winning the Claremont Hotel DJ competition in August 2012, Live Phase has held a residency upstairs on Thursday nights playing commercial house, mashup top 40 which makes Claremont Hotel the place to be on Thursday nights. It is the unique way in which the sets are structured which allows people to hear new sounds while still not losing interest which can be quite difficult with most crowds who get bored quickly. The use of different mashups and tracks when combined create a smooth mix of new and old music which makes people experience something they are unlikely to hear anywhere else. The idea of creating an experience which brings people out of their commercialised comfort zone while still keeping the night entertaining is something that Live Phase strives for where you can tell the vast difference between his set and anyone else's.
