And out of the urban sprawl, came a clanging repetition, too regular to be random, just rhythmic enough to indicate a mechanism, some kind of pulsating, beating MACHINE.

And around it, hinting at intelligence: symbols, symmetrical; offset in black relief, burnt, somehow into the concrete shackles. Some sort of insignia, left behind, by the host driving the mechanism, of the ever beating MACHINE.

And within it's structure, and amid it's grinding cogs and wheels and pulleys, dispersed through the motions, spread a host of techno denizens, driving and beating and stamping through the pulsating, of the rhythmic techno beast.

Into the heart of the driving, beating MACHINE.
