News Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 “Dance The Night Away” One Last Time This Summer The story behind “Dance The Night Away” circumvents itself around two strangers who are mortally attracted to one another. At a festival, the strangers become entangled in an immortal dance focusing only on the moment and nothing else. Uncertain whether the other person may feel the same, they forgo the exchange of numbers, leaving only the memory of the one night dance they shared. Using this storyline, Om Zho delivers an uplifting single with sing-along lyrics and nostalgic theme in a similar lane to Porter Robinson and Illenium. The production of “Dance The Night Away” started off as a simple electro-pop track but the track eventually took on a life of its own, evolving into a hybridized experiment between melodic future bass and trap. The Club Edit with its devious undertone and dark dirty beats would stem its development from Trap with the aim to hit much harder than the original. Carefully designed micro tensions are arranged in order for the build-up to reach maximum effect for the skirmish like drop, leaving the audience excited but feeling a bit unsafe. “Dance The Night Away” effectively takes listeners on a journey down memory lane, immersing them in an exciting dark cinematic world. “Dance The Night Away” will be released on all major digital platforms on Friday, September 7th.
