Major Lazer enlist dream collaboration with Tove Lo

Major Lazer have been killing it with their single by single release of their recent Afrobeats Mixtape. This time they’ve enlisted huge Swedish talent Tove Lo to meld some vocals into what still remains an Afrobeat banger.

Blow That Smoke ft. Tove Lo starts off with some serious Under The Sea vibes as it progresses with those hollow percussive sounds that are so imperative to a good Afro influenced tune.  The lyrics seem to tell a tale of taking yourself away from the mundaneness of life by jumping into a bit of reckless romance. It has an understated earthiness that continues the trend of the past few releases well.

This tune does well to slot perfectly in with the tracks like All My Life ft. Burna Boy and Tied Up ft. Mr. Eazi, Raye & Jake Goslin.
