News Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Suwannee Hulaween just wrapped up their sixth year as a music festival and we here at GoodMusicAllDay was in attendance. Having gone to several music festivals already, I have to say that Hulaween yet again is my favorite of them all. The festival in Florida is much more than just music its a culture and a vibe you just can’t get elsewhere. Here are my three biggest takeaways from Hulaween 2018. Photo by @ShotsByCarl The Venue Suwanne Hulaween takes place at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL and is hosted by The String Cheese Incident. It features the Spirit Lake® visual arts extravaganza which makes the venue one of the best to experience. As you enter the park and get through security it’s a straight free for all. You pick your own camp site among the 800 acres with no directions. This year my crew and I got their Wednesday night which was the best decision. We camped 5 minutes from the entrance which made the whole weekend easy. The venue features so many incredible things to see and be apart of. This year they had art installations that included fire, massive wooden animals, trapeze artists and more. It seemed like everywhere you turned there was new things to come across and experience. Check out some of the pictures below. 2. The Music This can be said about any music festival but honestly what makes a camping festival a GREAT one is the diversity of music the whole weekend. Unlike other festivals we have attended, Suwannee Hulaween brings in big names of all genres. This year we were able to catch over 20 acts from electronic, hip-hip, bluegrass, indie, alternative and more. Top 3 for me personally had to be REZZ, NGHTMRE & Troy Boi. Check out the photos and videos we got below. The Culture, The People & The Vibes As with any events you go to, the whole thing will be remembered by the people you are with, the people you meet and the memories you take with you. This year I was lucky enough to go with 13 of my festival crew peeps and damn did we have a blast. We got to meet so many interesting and entertaining people all weekend from all over the world. Check out some of the faces we met along our journey. This years Hulaween was so much fun and the whole festival was a success. Big thank you to the entire festival staff and everyone involved for making this year so magical. We can’t wait for next year!
