Self Driving Cars Could Also Function As Moving Brothels, Experts Claim

Elon Musk might be a little bit of a genius and also a little bit insane, but at the end of the day, he’s just a big science nerd with a lot of money and some cool ideas. However, what would be really interesting is nabbing a group of degenerates, giving them Elon’s funds and seeing what cool features they can come up with.

Well, as luck would have it a new paper by researchers at the University of Surry and Oxford reckon that in the near future, pay-per-hour brothels will be cut out and replaced by self-driving cars.

“While SCAVs [shared, connected autonomous vehicles] will likely be monitored to deter passengers having sex or using drugs in them, and to prevent violence, such surveillance may be rapidly overcome, disabled or removed.

“Moreover, personal CAVs will likely be immune from such surveillance. Such private CAVs may also be put to commercial use, as it is just a small leap to imagine Amsterdam’s Red Light District ‘on the move’,” the paper says.

The study also reckons that self-driving cars could impact the hotel and coach tour industry, as people have their own swanky mode of transportation it doesn’t make sense to waste pressure hours sleeping in a motel.

However, a pretty big drawback of self-driving cars is it would essentially undo all our environmental work. replacing a coach with 15 more cars isn’t exactly efficient, so let’s see where the technology takes us.
