Ultra Australia has just dropped a huge phase 1 lineup

Ultra Music Festival is arguably the biggest electronic music festival brand in the world. Starting from humble beginnings as an idea in the USA 20 years ago, it’s since evolved and made its way around the world.  From Carl Cox‘s iconic “Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes” to when Deadmau5 dropped an edit of Martin Garrix’s Animals chopped up with Old Macdonald, Ultra never seems to disappoint.

Ultra Australia was an event we thought we might not ever get down under, but the time has come for the super festival to hit our shores in all its entirety and if their phase 1 is anything to go by, we’re in for a huge time. Headlining the fest we’ve got the Swedish Techno god Adam Beyer alongside dance music heavyweights Marshmello and Martin Garrix (DJ Mag #1) and rounding out the first announcement, The Chainsmokers.

This lineup is huge for dance music in Aus and seems to bring back those nostalgia feels of the good ol’ festival days that saw us get nothing but the biggest names down under. The super festival will bring its party to Melbourne and Sydney for February 23 and 24 of next year, so if you’re keen snap up tix here and latch onto the Facebook page as we await that second phase lineup!
