December has begun, folks. That means Christmas playlist. If you celebrate Christmas, chances are you’re already queuing up that one Michael Bublé album (hint: it’s the only album by him you’ll ever listen to). It’s time to get jolly and listen to your favorite mix of classics and pop hits spread holiday cheer.

Starting off with an easy intro, Bublé’s “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” kickstarts the spirit before getting into the goods. Make sure to play this list on shuffle, you filthy animals; Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby come in with their smooth, vintage voices to remind us of those classic yet very, very boring movies. And you can’t get more classic than Dean Martin’s “Baby It’s Cold Outside” with its underlying sexual harassment tones!

There are also mix-ins of modern, fun hits. With covers by She & Him and Daniel Andrade, the playlist has hints of relaxing tunes to sit by the fire too (that is if people actually do that still).

And for those movie montage songs, fret not! We have them. From Jackson 5, to “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, to Charlie Brown’s Christmas. Even though this playlist is aimed at those who celebrate the holiday, we made sure to be inclusive. Check out personal favorites of mine, “Mele Kalikimaka” and “Feliz Navidad” for the festive spice.

Keep this playlist jamming all throughout the month with friends, family, and your dog. Cozy up on the couch with hot cocoa or blast it at your annual Christmas party. Make sure to sing loud for all to hear because who knows what your Cousin Eddie will do next in the front yard.

As someone who takes approximately 21 days of December to fully get in the spirit, I’m making a resolution to spread holiday cheer from the get-go. Let’s jam to some classic tunes and remember to cherish our family and friends.
