We're always trying to make things as fun as possible at Rock Like This, and offer as much as we can, and we reckon we've hit the nail on the head this time with a free party for the peoples..!

As genres have risen only to fall, production duo Karton have developed and refined their own unique sound, which – while grounded by their love for all things breakbeat – is never limited by the constraints any single style of music provides. The variation in their production work and club sets illustrates that Karton don’t simply follow the crowd but rather craft a distinctive style as they continue to push their sound to new levels.

The duo have released numerous singles and remixes across the globe which have received club and radio support from the world’s top DJs and radio stations, including BBC Radio1, KissFM and Triple J. Karton have recently been nominated in the ‘Breakthrough Producer’ category for Breakspoll, the International Breakbeat Awards.

Now, only a year after releasing the MASSIVE debut album ‘For All Seasons‘ Karton are releasing another album – ‘Find The Constant’ – full of the heavy, melodic and epic breaks, dubstep and drum & bass we’ve come to expect from the Canberra duo. Their most recent EP, ‘Bang,’ aided by with the duties of Melbourne MC Fraksha, is a monster of a tune, with B-Sides to match, and when we got word of the opportunity to help launch the upcoming album, soon after, we couldn’t hold back our excitement..!

So, to break in August, and begin to leave winter clubbing in our wake, we’re having one hellova party with an all-star local lineup to celebrate..!
