  1. Hey guys, thanks so far for ur help, I just got home and saw them so I havent tried yet, however just an update it does the same for channel 3 too. So ultimately, im playing out of channel 2 and 4, red rca in red output, white in white etc....and channel 2 and 4 work fine, left n right speaker, cross fader, effects etc..but channel 1 and 3 only play out of 1 speaker... :\
  2. I bought a djm3000 off ebay, the seller had 100% feedback and the sale description stated the mixer was fully functional and had just been serviced. Anyway, I don't know much about mixers so before I accuse him of being a liar I just wanted to ask you guys / tell you guys the problem. When I have my mixer connected to the decks channel 1 and 2, Channel 2 plays perfectly out of both speakers , however channel 1 only plays out of the left speaker. It can't be dodgy rca cables because I tried a different set of rcas, then tried it in channel 2 an 3 (which both play out of both speakers exactly how it should). Am I doing something wrong or is my mixer dodgy? Thanks
  3. thanks mate, thats why I keep coming back. What do you think of the djm 3000?
  4. didnt get manuals mate, bought all my shit second hand. Ive done my fair share of research, fucked around with dj software and googled a shit-ton before I went and bought gear, also fucked around with setting it up on my own before making this post. I wont slit my wrists because I got dissed on a online forum xo, Ill go try what you said now, Thanks man
  5. Hi guys, my set up consists of two cdj 800's mk2, djm3000 and some speakers Ive just purchased. Im having trouble setting up, With the cdj's I recieved two sets of rca cables (1 red 1 white combination), with the mixer it just has a wall plug , same with the speakers. So far, ive set up the cdj's to the speakers and they work fine, however, how do I connect the mixer to the cdjs and speakers? I tried to use the digital out on the cdj's but that didnt work, so Im using the audio L & R out on the cdjs connected to the speakers and that works, however the mixer isnt connected at all, and I have no rca cables to connect to the mixer or else the speakers wont work? Anyone know what im doing wrong? Thankss
  6. What are they like in terms of long lasting? I dont wanna buy it and it fucks up on me after a month pretty reliable?? So u think go for them??
  7. leaning towards these now: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-2-X-10-P ... 519wt_1139 Reason being, I don't wanna spend a shitload on speakers, that I probably wont use other than at home, If and when I get good enough to do parties ill invest in a better brand and size, or just get them hired, but atm still want them to be loud. any thoughts?
  8. what kind of speakers did u get?
  9. If i got the behringer one, would one speaker be enough?

  11. Hi guys, My setup consists of 2 x cdj800's, djm3000, and hdj 2000 headphones. I am a beginner, and I want to do a lot of practising at home. Ive been searching high and low for speakers, (just for practise, at most to take to a small party after a while, but probably not even that.) on ebay and djcity.com.au Can i please have some advice on what I should get? These are the 4 sets I'm leaning towards: http://www.djcity.com.au/products/pk-qt ... _1825.html http://www.djcity.com.au/products/qt12- ... _1751.html http://www.djcity.com.au/products/rc10- ... _1798.html http://www.djcity.com.au/products/pl210 ... _2058.html Thanks again in advance.

  16. Hi guys, I just bought decks and a mixer and want to finish off my setup with some speakers. Whats the go with speakers? Do they have to be top notch quality or? Had a look on ebay, what are your thoughts on something like these: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT I want something to practice with, but also at the same time that would sound good to use at parties and occasions (after lots and lots of practice!) thanks guys , any advice is greatly appreciated
  17. got it! thanks guys
  18. What does it actually do? I googled it and apparently its a dual deck cd player? Is this used as a backup incase the decks arn't working?? I youtubed a video of it being used with a djm3000, the mixer has great fader effects. Also, is the djm3000 a good mixer? What is a good mixer with similar effects to go with cdj 800's? Thankyou
  19. no? http://adelaide.gumtree.com.au/c-Stuff- ... Z294709679
  20. thanks buddy, looks like I will, along with some research too. i keep missing out on deals
  21. Point taken, I might offer him just for the cdj1000's or just offer him less all up. Thanks man
  22. Without sounding like an asshole, I think you need to do alot more research before dropping 2k on a setup. And without replying like an asshole, the only way I'll learn is with the gear infront of me. Reading only gets you so far but thanks for the advice
  23. Alright lads, i missed out on that set up unfortunately but have my eyes on another! 2 cdj1000 mk3 decks a djm400 mixer with all the cords. Hes gonna throw in a powered speaker he used around the house. I can get this for between 2 - 2,300 $ Also, whats the diff between a 2 and 4 channel mixer? means I can only do so much or?
  24. legends, thankyou! so the price is at about 1k now, how far should I keep bidding before it gets over priced, taking into consideration its second hand , and no idea REALLY what condition its in?
  25. is it good gear though? thanks man
