  1. Thanks Soldios, I think you are right, It is just tempting
  2. Thanks guys, Foedragon: I would so much rather get the 2000/2000 setup but I feel like an idiot spending a lot of money when I am just really starting haha Although my friend as well tells me I will probably end up upgrading from 900s pretty quickly as well so I am very tempted. Did you say you have had an offer of $4900? One question, concerning the DJM900 isn't there a mechanical problem when adding headphones or something? I like that the DJM2000 has components of other Pioneer products such as the EFX1000... and i like the touch screen. But if I am spending this much (which I still am not sure of) honestly, am I better off with the DJM900? Thanks everyone
  3. Fair enough Djaz, Im going to start with CDJ900's and DJM800 that should keep me occupied for a while! Thanks Jarrah
  4. That looks good That was the reason I wanted to go for the DJM2000 because it integrated many systems into the one mixer. But even used they cost a lot... Thanks Jarrah
  5. Okay well put, I will start with this and see where it takes me next Thanks! Jarrah
  6. yep I think I might go for that, In terms of really altering/distorting and adding effects to my music what equipment should I be looking into purchasing and how much is it going to cost me? Thanks so much guys Jarrah
  7. Okay guys haha Thanks I was just getting exciting because I have the money for the 2000's but I guess I shouldn't go that way, There is someone that lives nearby that is selling practically new CDJ900's and a DJM700 for $3000... I just love all of the various effects on the DJM2000 and I love using them, although a DJM800 will be fine though, Thanks guys Jarrah
  8. I will see how I go that sounds like a good option for now
  9. Thanks Andy, I will look into this, I just love this gear but I guess everyone does, Of course I can start with something cheaper Looking at 900's with a DJM800? Jarrah
  10. I thought you might ask hahah! We'll I have saved a lot and have been using my friends cdj2000s and djm2000 for about 6 months. If I could get a decent price on the best stuff then it would help me because this is what I am used to and I can grow into it as well, and I would not need to upgrade Thanks
  11. Hi, I have been researching a lot and I am ready to purchase some gear, let me know if you have any used CDJ2000s DJM2000 or DJM900 I will pay a good price for good gear as long as everything is working perfectly, Thanks Jarrah
  12. Okay sweet So I won't bother waiting to get a newer product Thanks!
  13. Okay sweet thanks for that, Yeah my friend is really serious and loves his hot cues but it shouldn't bother me, So do you think I am best grabbing CDJ900s ? They sound gear and if I can afford them It would be good because they will last me a good while Also is there any news of pioneer releasing a new range of CDJ's in the near future? Thanks Jarrah
  14. Yeaah I will look into the specs on the 900s, I think I am better off with hot cues, my mate says you can't get CDJ's without hot cues if you are willing to spend a few $1000, Thanks
  15. Hi guys, Thanks so much for all your responses and sorry that I have posted this thread without reading through similar threads like this! I have been doing a lot of research and I'll keep my eyes out, I found this... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pioneer-DJM- ... 500wt_1156 look interesting? Thanks guys
  16. Hi everyone, I am new to DJing and just know the very basics. I am looking to buy myself some CD players as well as a mixer to get me started... I really want to get into DJing but am not to sure what to start with, I know how to use the very nice Pioneer CDJ2000s pretty well as my friend has them along with his Pioneer DJM2000 mixer. I love the Pioneer CDJ's and Mixers because I have used them before and the features are great! Being new to everything, I don't know if I should spend a lot of money now and not upgrade or buy something cheap and try it out. Not sure what my budget is, but I have money saved but I would rather not spend over $3000... Personally I think I should grab a used pair of CDJ1000mk3's or CDJ900s or even used CDJ2000s... with a Used DJM800 or DJM2000. But thats pricey and I don't know if it would suite a beginner. Let me know what you think I should do I have thought about getting mixing for years but now I can't wait any longer! Thanks Jarrah
