3/8th music direct into active speaker?

Hi,

What is the safest way to get music say off my phone (3/8th inch stereo out) directly into my active speaker (xlr)?

So I can say play background music in another room etc..

Judging by that photo, you could just use a 1/4" to 1/8" cable and plug that into the 1/4" jack input (or 1/8" to Male XLR if that's what you want). If not, you could use the aux input from your DJ mixer and then route the mixer into the speaker if you want full control.
