  1. Dont think we're trying to cut an intro out of a mix here though. Trying to create a new intro audio file. i think thats whats happening anyway.
  2. if you have software to edit it and apply effects then no-one will ever know.
  3. Do you not have the option of recording yourself saying it? Either with a mic, a built-in mic on your laptop or even headphones if it came to it?
  4. You said what I was thinking.
  5. I love discogs. Ultimate place to find rare and old gems. Never had any problems with shipping, although I've not had anything shipped to Australia yet. Certainly inter-europe delivery has always been fine. What kind of shipping costs are you looking at from Europe to here?
  6. Cheers guys, Happy to help wherever I can.
  7. No tables? Shit... I'd be screwed if I ever got a gig over here then. I've never used a CDJ in my life. Well, thats a lie I suppose. Was booked for a gig a few months back and got told it was gonna be CDJ's only. Borrowed a set of 1000's off my mate to get a bit of practice. Didn't like them at all. Old habits die hard and having always used vinyl I just couldn't get comfortable with CDJ's. Luckily they changed it to tt's and CDJ's.
  8. No-one use vinyl then?
  9. Hey guys, I'm Russell, I'm from Glasgow but working in Australia these days. bought my first turntables 11 years ago, bought what vinyl I could afford, looking back some of it good and some of it crap. There was a few years where I just couldnt afford to buy vinyl so ended up gettin traktor simply because I could still play with tables. I dont know how to use any of the features, hate setting it up when i'm playing and think of it only as a record box really. I've never even used a CDJ, well tried it once and hated it. Back into buying vinyl alongside it these days too again thankfully. Tried to get a club night off the ground in Glasgow last year. Done a few parties and brought some good people to play for us, Steffi, Andre Lodemann, Rene Breitbarth, Terry Lee Brown Jnr & Margaret Dygas. Would probably have kept it going if it wasn't for relocating to Oz. Even though the Glasgow scene is pretty tough. Lot of nights, lot of variety with very little people actually going out anymore. Also try my hand at production. Not had any original material released but manged to get a few remixes under my belt for Tronicsole and Scenic Tones. Gonna focus mainly on my production these days and just buy more records for the love of it now rather than for gigs.
