  1. Welcome
  2. i would like but i deleted my fb before this new timeline format comes out.
  3. Nice track. good effort.
  4. =D>
  5. No doubt
  6. Was it low volume recording or a distorted recording?
  7. i'll be in Scotland.
  8. i did.
  9. yeah but in that video th emixer isn't even switched on. even though he still gives it a couple showboat knob twiddles. he'd have been as well twddling how own knob
  10. I know this is seriously off topic but I'll answer this then i'll stop. honest. Yeah a vinyl habit is an expensive habit. That's why i feel like I put more effort into the tunes I buy on vinyl rather an .wavs. Need to make sure I really like it if i'm gonna spens all that money on it. That or if it's vinyl only.
  11. Actually vinyl sales increased 55% alone in the first half of 2011 in the UK alone, 41% in the US. There was a low point in sale a few of year ago (perhaps the recession had a hand in that too?) but it has steadily grown over the last 4 years and took a big jump this year. That not just dance music either. However, when it comes to electronic music there's so much stuff coming out only on vinyl again. Vakula, vinalog, omar-s, Anton Zap, Alex Agore, the numerous white labels... the list could go on for a while. one fine series of vinyl only releases are the workshop ep's....
  12. I don't know. It looked that way for years granted, but there's been a resurgence in the vinyl market in the last year or so which to me says a lot of poeple are reverting back to the old ways. Now i'm not saying it's going to be a sweeping trend that will kill off technology but there's a definite interest in the back to basics school of DJ'ing. Of course I'm basing this opinion on the european market as thats what I know.
  13. i guess the last time I checked this wasn't a newspaper, trading post paper & online, gumtree or trade magazine.
  14. tough call in that case. If you have the money i'd say go for it. Start a vinyl collection at the same time.
  15. The best way if you want to be able to do it naturally is to ignore the BPM counters all times. Train your ears to listen to the 2 tracks at the same time. This is by no means easy but if you practice enough you'll get it.
  16. I like your attitude.
  17. no cue button would spin me out lol, would be pretty cool to learn the art Do you not know anyone that has some you can get a shot of? I woul dsay it's worth it but that's the only way I've ever played so it's a pretty biased opinion. Be good to have a shot and see if you like it. i did the same with CDJ's and hated them so was glad I didnt just fork out the money on them.
  18. When i'm buying a record I'll skip through yeah. but I'm always gonna go and listen to the whole thing ya know.
  19. Thats cool that that works for you guys but I'm the opposite. I like to listen to the whole track, make sure I like the whole thing, if not I would consider doing an edit if I thought it would work. Doesn't sound like a lot of love goes into picking tracks when you just flick through them to check for breakdowns etc.

    Welcome.
  21. Would people go out their way to click into an individual forum though just to find out what peole want to buy? If you happen to be wanting rid of something tat some else is loking for then your more likely to notice if yur going in to sell it and the wanted thread is in the same place.
  22. surely it's impossible to listen to over 1k of tunes every week.
  23. thats seems waaay harder than just knowing your tunes.
  24. hahaha. fuckin hell. He's even more of a cock after seeing this. Add this to the list with Justice and Steve Angello
