This is some shit I'm really bad at. I'm so used to year sof sortin gmy records out and looking for them by the sleeve that when it comes to organising .wavs I suck. It's basically just seperate play lists for genres and if a track fits 1 or more genres then it'll be launched in each list. I just do this internally in TSP.

Ditto. When playin techno though you can get good results mixing using the filters on the allen & heath, and probably other mixer's with the same feature... thats just what i'm used too.

So I made a deep house track and wanted to make a dub (not dubstep) edit of it... it ended up going through various genres and styles till I ended up with this. I wouldn't class it as straight up D'n'B... got a bit of breaks and juke influence in there. did they actually make it legal then? I know it's legal for medicinal purposes and there was talk of it to help the Cali economy out. i never caught wind of if it had actually been made legal though.

the filters on an X:one 92 are good. Only effect I ever use really.. that and a bit of delay.

First set-up was a set of limited edition chrome finish numark TT-2 pros with a 2 channel KAM Mixer (can't remember the model) and sony mdr 700 cans. All purchased with a student loan when I was 17. Think it cost me all in 1000 pounds. first gig was an illegal rave in the hills. Was pretty boss actually... I was playing in th ebiggest marque there but there was lots of small soundsystems dotted around... VW camper vans with a set of decks at the bck and a sound system playing gabber n that. Was pretty smashed as we'd be on it all day before heading up, got there and got told there was a guy sellin sugar cubes...Obviously we headed straight for him! Was playing B2B with my mate and couldn't even hear what was in my phone i but looking at the crowd we were far from the worst. lol Now playing on Technics 1210's and a DJM 600 with traktor scratch pro.
