Growing up, Liam Neeson was in charge of caring for the horses on his aunt’s farm in Northern Ireland. His fascination for the graceful animals has continued for well over 20 years now, as he still sets aside time to admire the horses that populate Central Park in New York City where he lives. In many ways, the Taken star has become something of a horse whisperer, but nothing could prepare us for his anecdote from the set of his latest project, Joel and Ethan Coen’s Western flick The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Upon showing up for a day of shooting, Neeson encountered a horse who he claims recognized him from a past film. Yes, apparently he and this horse go way back. “I play a traveling impresario. We filmed in New Mexico,” Neeson recounted to Page Six. “The odd thing is the horse who pulls my wagon knew me… He whinnied when he saw me. And pawed the ground.” “You won’t believe it. I’m saying this horse knew me,” the 66-year-old actor earnestly continued. “He actually remembered me from another Western we made a while back. I love animals. When we worked together before I took special care of him. I fed him treats. Gave him apples.” Well, crazier things have happened. And if anyone were to have this sort of serendipitous encounter, it would be Neeson, whose “very particular set of skills” include hunting down kidnappers and communicating with horses. After scoring a Best Screenplay award at the Venice Film Festival, Buster Scruggs is scheduled to open in theaters on November 16th. The cast also boasts James Franco, Zoe Kazan, and Tim Blake Nelson as the titular outlaw. In addition, legendary musician Tom Waits has a role. Revisit a trailer below. Source

Pinegrove announce return to the road with limited tour dates
News posted a topic in DJ Headquarters
Last month, Pinegrove ended a nearly year-long hiatus actuated by sexual coercion allegations against frontman Evan Stephens Hall. With the apparent approval of the accuser, the band released their new album, Skylight, and revealed plans for a small tour by the end of the year. Now, they’ve mapped out those upcoming tour dates. Though only nine stops long, the tour will find Pinegrove traveling to both American coasts as well as overseas. It’s due to kick off November 23rd in their hometown of Montclair, New Jersey. From there, the band will play shows in Boston, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and West Hollywood, as well as in Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, and London abroad. In an Instagram post announcing the tour, Pinegrove said a portion of profits from the tour will be donated to Planned Parenthood. In addition, the band is “partnering with organizations and volunteers trained in active bystander intervention in each city” to “emphasize our commitment to making sure everyone is as comfortable as possible at our shows.” Find the full itinerary below. Pinegrove 2018 Tour Dates: 11/23 – Montclair, NJ @ First Congregational Church 11/24 – Boston, MA @ The Sinclair 11/26 – Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg 12/01 – Amsterdam, NL @ Sugar Factory 12/03 – Berlin, DE @ Cassiopeia 12/05 – Bristol, UK @ Thekla 12/06 – London, UK @ The Garage 12/12 – San Francisco, CA @ Great American Music Hall 12/14 – West Hollywood, CA @ Troubador Source -
Texas senator Ted Cruz has spent his current reelection bid trying to make voters clutch their pearls over his opponent, Democratic hopeful (and talented musician) Beto O’Rourke. Cruz has posted photos of O’Rourke’s old days in punk bands, and made the bizarre claim that O’Rourke rid the state of BBQ and replace it with “tofu” and “dyed hair”…or something. He’s literally the worst. (Read: Classic Film Review: Dazed and Confused Grooves With an Air of Immortality) Richard Linklater, Boyhood director and lifelong Texan, agrees. That’s why he directed a new anti-Cruz ad featuring another Texan, Sonny Carl Davis, who here takes issue with Cruz’s campaign slogan: “Tough As Texas.” Davis, who you might recognize from Linklater’s excellent 2011 movie Bernie, essentially posits that “tough” people don’t “kiss the ass” of someone who called their wife a “dog” and insinuated that their dad was involved in the Kennedy assassination. He’s speaking of Donald Trump, of course, who thoroughly dismantled Cruz during the 2016 presidential campaign. “You stick a finger in your chest and give ’em a few choice words,” Davis says. “Or you drag their ass out by the woodshed and kick their ass, Ted.” His pointed repetitions of “Ted” are so funny. Watch it below, and please, please, please don’t vote for Ted Cruz. He is bad. Source

We’re still months away from the April 5th release of Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kölsch’s reimagining of Stephen King’s terrifying 1983 novel, Pet Sematary. But it’s October, a season of horror movies, which is why it only makes sense that Paramount would start revving up the hype machine for their forthcoming, surefire blockbuster. Last week, we got our first look at the movie with all sorts of photos, and now we have the first official poster. It’s a simple and effective teaser that looks strikingly similar to King’s latest novel The Outsider, at least aesthetically. Fans should not only recognize the infamous tagline, but also the title’s font that pays homage to the original first edition. Take a look below and stay tuned tomorrow for the first trailer: The film stars John Lithgow as Jud Crandall, Jason Clarke as Louis Creed, Amy Seimetz as Rachel Creed, Jeté Laurence as Ellie Creed, and twins Hugo Lavoie and Lucas Lavoie as baby Gage Creed. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed its list of nominees, and once again, people are pissed. At this point, it’s an annual tradition and one that will certainly never fade away. This year’s class of nominees include Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Janet Jackson, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Def Leppard, Todd Rundgren, Rufus and Chaka Khan, LL Cool J, The Zombies, Devo, John Prine, MC5, and Kraftwerk. In a surprise twist, zero artists eligible for the first time this year were nominated, which includes OutKast, Beck, Jeff Buckley, The Roots, Dave Matthews Band, and Snoop Dogg. The good news is that these handful of talented bastards aren’t alone and join a running list of omissions by the Cleveland institution. During Pearl Jam’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, bassist Jeff Ament famously wore a t-shirt listing many of the artists and bands who have not yet been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We updated that shirt (see above), and also spelled out a complete list of names for you below: — A Tribe Called Quest — Afrika Bambaataa — Alice In Chains — The B-52’s — Bad Brains — Bad Company — Barry White — Bauhaus — Beck — Big Star — Björk — Black Flag — Blur — Brian Eno — The Buzzcocks — Can — Captain Beefheart — Carole King — The Carpenters — Chic — The Commodores — Connie Francis — Dave Matthews Band — De La Soul — The Dead Kennedys — Def Leppard — Depeche Mode — Devo — Dick Dale — The Doobie Brothers — Duran Duran — Emerson, Lake and Palmer — Eric B. and Rakim — Eurythmics — Faith No More — The Flaming Lips — Fugazi 5 — George Michael — Gram Parsons — The Guess Who — Harry Nilsson — Hüsker Dü — INXS — Iron Maiden — The Jam — Jan and Dean — Jane’s Addiction — Jeff Buckley — The Jesus and Mary Chain — Jethro Tull — Jim Croce — Johnny Burnette and the Rock N Roll Trio — Joy Division — Judas Priest — Kate Bush — King Crimson — Link Wray — Love — Mariah Carey — The Marvelettes — Mary Wells — Massive Attack — MC5 — Megadeth — The Monkees — Mötley Crüe — Motörhead — My Bloody Valentine — Neu! — New Order — New York Dolls — Nick Cave — Nick Drake — Nine Inch Nails — The Offspring — OutKast — Ozzy Osbourne — Pantera — Pat Benatar — Pavement — Peter, Paul and Mary — Pixies — PJ Harvey — Procol Harum — The Replacements — The Roots — The Runaways — Scott Walker — Silver Apples — Siouxsie and the Banshees — Slayer — The Smashing Pumpkins — The Smiths — Snoop Dogg — Sonic Youth — Soundgarden — Sparks — The Specials — The Spinners — Steppenwolf — Stone Roses — Stone Temple Pilots — Suicide — T. Photo by Heather Kaplan, Julia Drummond, and Debi Del Grande. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the nominees for its class of 2019. They include Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Janet Jackson, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, and Def Leppard. Other finalists include Todd Rundgren, Rufus and Chaka Khan, LL Cool J, The Zombies, Devo, John Prine, MC5, and Kraftwerk. The top five vote-getters, as determined by a group of artists, historians, and music industry members, as well as a fan vote, will be announced in December. They will then be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during a ceremony held in April 2019 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. HBO will broadcast the ceremony later in the year. (Read: A Running List of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Omissions) In order for an artist to be eligible for the Hall of Fame, their first recording must have been released at least 25 years ago or earlier. Devo, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, John Prine, and Def Leppard have all been nominated for the first time. However, no artists eligible for the first time this year were nominated, a list which includes OutKast, Beck, Jeff Buckley, The Roots, Dave Matthews Band, and Snoop Dogg. Additionally, previous nominees omitted from this year’s list include Kate Bush, Nine Inch Nails, The Smiths, The Replacements, Depeche Mode, Bad Brains, and Eurythmics, among others. Radiohead, who were first nominated in 2018, have expressed a disinterest in a potential induction. “I don’t care,” Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood responded when asked about the band’s potential enshrinement in an interview last year. Guitarist Ed O’Brien added, “I don’t want to be rude about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because for a lot of people it means something, but culturally I don’t understand it. I think it might be a quintessential American thing.” Last year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class included Nina Simone, Bon Jovi, The Cars, Dire Straits, and The Moody Blues. Source

Electric Gardens got announced the other week boasting a couple of huge names, including Underworld, Eats Everything and a bunch of others. Well the nationwide festival has just gone and topped themselves announcing that they’re bringing one of the biggest super-clubs in the world down under. Ibiza’s Amnesia is arguably the biggest club on the island and Electric Gardens is bringing everything it stands for to the hearts of Australia. Amnesia is looking to include all of their trademarks, from hedonistic dancers to beaming lasers and even their industrial Co2 cannons. The stage is set to be headed by tech house lord Patrick Topping who will be smashing out a massive 3 hour set, giving you plenty of time to enjoy those goodies. He’ll also be joined by house heavyweight, Eats Everything in an attempt to give those not able to head to Ibiza a taste of what is a must have experience. If this sounds like it’s tickling your fancy you can grab tix to Electric Gardens here. In the meantime watch the video below and tell us you’re not hyped! Source

Setting the Stage: Back in early 2016, Phil Collins told us there was no tour. He’d like to do “a few shows,” but lapping the globe wasn’t in the cards, especially while coping with the nerve damage that benched him for years. But in 2017, a series of big-ticket comeback residencies in Europe billed as the “Not Dead Yet Tour” (after his autobiography of the same name) became an actual tour. Further European dates appeared, followed by a full South American lap earlier this year. Now, all through October, Collins is taking North America for the first time since Genesis’ 2007 Turn It On Again Tour or his cheekily titled last run as a solo act, The First Final Farewell Tour, in 2004. Appropriately, this leg of Not Dead Yet kicked off in South Florida. Collins, having made his home in Miami, gives the often-ignored state a fair amount of love, including performances at his annual Little Dreamers Benefit Gala, but those short sets pale in comparison to the sold-out, stadium-packing spectacle he brought to Sunrise, Florida’s BB&T Center this past weekend. Photo by Jonathan West Taking the Stage: An important thing to know is that Collins’ ailments have left the leading man more or less stationary. He enters with a cane and spends most of the show in a swivel chair at the head of the stage. But seated though he is, this isn’t an intimate show; it’s a big show, and Collins brought with him enough spectacle to more than make up for his lack of mobility. (Besides, theatrics and stage diving were always more Peter Gabriel’s bag.) Collins’ band is 14 members strong: including four backup singers, a four-piece brass ensemble (The Vine St. Horns), Genesis and solo-collaborator guitarist Daryl Stuermer, and Collins’ 17-year-old son, Nic, on the drums. The whimsy of this large band set against the still golden-voiced Collins seated at the front isn’t lost on the performers. The brass, backup singers, and guitarists occasionally stage themselves around the seated band leader for antics, such as during “Who Said I Would?”, with Collins swiveling about, pointing and demanding to know. In Nic Collins’ four-year tenure drumming for his dad, he’s become a beloved feature. He’s got his dad’s energy for sure, and when Collins says that he can play better than he can … there’s a distinct possibility that’s true. It doesn’t hurt that young Collins’ heat is often met and complimented by Richie “Gajate” Garcia on every percussion instrument shy of a drum kit. The band is vibrant – overflowing with talent and artistry – but the two drummers imbue each song with a punch oftentimes well beyond the recorded versions. Even the jaunty but sobering “Another Day in Paradise” immediately comes to life with a surprising energy that sets the pace for the rest of the night… With notable exceptions. Photo by Cap Blackard Two Worlds: A saccharine interlude of duet “Separate Lives” and Tarzan’s “You’ll be in My Heart” was a necessary concession to the adult contemporary fans. The performances were decent, but put a drag on the the set – though Bridget Bryant’s vocal performance was dazzling. Fortunately, that two-song diversion was counteracted by its antithesis: a drum performance, at first a jam with Garcia and Nic Collins, then becoming a trio as Collins the Elder sat behind a slap-top cajón. He might not be able to hold sticks any more, but Phil brought the fire and was soon surrounded by his son and Garcia sitting atop standard cajóns of their own – a freewheeling performance that exploded into “Something Happened on the Way to Heaven” and launched a nine-song block of tracks so potent and so expertly played, any of them could’ve easily ended the show (and eventually did). Photo by Jonathan West Don’t Let Him Steal Your Heart Away: The Collins men sat together behind a piano for a heart-rending performance of the tragically slept-on “You Know What I Mean”. (Nic Collins picked out the track in particular and taught himself to play it.) Then Phil took his center-stage position again – this time standing for the one song that simply mustn’t be sat through: “In the Air Tonight”. The distorted intro featured voices… was it Sonny Crockett calling his estranged wife in those sobering moments before risking it all on the mean streets of Miami? It might’ve been; hard to tell, really, but the track has always thrived on its harsh line between clarity and obscurity. Even the implication of evoking Miami Vice’s most chilling moment while Collins stood, lit by warm spots, is enough to let the moment tap into the grim, personal memories of when the song hit hardest. After that, the show was nothing but a party. The obligatory “Can’t Hurry Love” delivered live the joy that the overplayed studio version could never hope to contain – smashing a “now break!” directly into “Dance into the Light”, elevating a lesser-loved track into the perfect high for it to thrive. “Invisible Touch” served as the ideal Genesis track to keep the party going, followed by “Easy Lover” (sung by Collins, Amy Keys, and Arnold McCuller) and the most jubilant, streamer-soaked performance of “Sussudio” imaginable. Topped off with a sing-along encore of “Take Me Home”, the only thing missing is a post-coital cigarette. While the show has remained relatively unchanged since its launch, and darker tracks like “Do You Know, Do You Care?” or “Mama” are woefully absent, Not Dead Yet is, against all odds, a phenomenal return (yes, pun intended), and it’s not even over yet! Next year, the clearly unstoppable Phil Collins continues the tour in Oceania. Photo by Jonathan West Setlist: Against All Odds Another Day in Paradise Missed Again Hang in Long Enough Throwing It All Away Follow You, Follow Me Can’t Turn Back the Years Who Said I Would? Earlier this month, we shared our 100 Scariest Movies of All Time feature. I referred to them as “the movies that terrify us in a way that we never quite get over.” That sounds almost like signing up for psychological damage, doesn’t it? It’s a bit hyperbolic, for sure. But like the final girls, survivors, and walking wounded who somehow lasted the runtime of those films, we, too, will never forget Leatherface waltzing with a chainsaw, Jack Torrance stalking through the labyrinth outside The Overlook, or a possessed Regan MacNeil’s head spinning circles from her exorcism bed. Simply put, some scares just stick with you. Which got us thinking. Before we were old enough to watch most of the fare on our list, there was a whole slew of book series, television shows, and movies intended to spook us — but not too much. The point was to scare us enough to pull the covers up just below our eyes but not so much that’d we’d keep our parents up all night with nightmares or requests to check under our beds or in our closets. Looking back at some of those movies, it’s actually remarkable how incredibly dark, disturbing, and grotesque some of the concepts are. No, we’re not talking slashers and gore. Instead, these films often tapped into the common fears of childhood like getting sucked down the bathtub drain or losing one’s parents and being all alone in the world. Rewatching some of these, it’s actually a wonder we didn’t turn out more fucked up than we did. Some of these movies don’t seem very scary to us now as adults, or they disturb us for entirely different reasons. However, the memory of how they once made us feel — nervous, uneasy, and suspicious that the world wasn’t quite as safe as our parents assured us — is alive and well. In that spirit, here are the 10 Scariest Children’s Movies of All Time. Here’s hoping your inner child doesn’t wake up screaming tonight. –Matt Melis Editorial Director _________________________________________________________ Source

Fifty years ago, director George A. Romero created the zombie genre with his terrifying debut, Night of the Living Dead, tipping off an essential career that gave us genre classics like Marvin, Dawn of the Dead, The Crazies, and Creepshow. Last year, however, he tragically passed away, but he may have more stories to tell from beyond the grave In an interview with ComicBook.com, the late filmmaker’s wife, Suzanne Desrocher-Romero, says there are “40, 50 scripts that he’s written” and “a lot of it is very good.” She proudly calls her late husband “a prolific writer” and adds that “he had a lot to say, and he still does,” which is why she’s established the George A. Romero Foundation for both his works and future filmmakers. Currently, she’s working on a forgotten film of his from 1973: “We’re gonna restore it, and we’re gonna show it to Romero cinephiles. It’s a scary movie, but it’s not a horror movie, and it’s about ageism. Anyway, he has a cameo in it, and it’ll be fun. And we’ll show the movie, or get it distributed. It’ll be a project that the foundation’s gonna do. I think it’s the first project we’re gonna do actually.” As for the long-running Dead franchise, she hopes that Road of the Dead, which Romero had been working on prior to his passing, will also see the light of day. “That’s in the works I think,” she admits. “I think it’s sputtered a little bit, but we’ll see what happens.” The film would serve as a followup to 2009’s Survival of the Dead. (Read: The 100 Scariest Movies of All Time) In the meantime, fans can celebrate the 1968 original this month with an exclusive two-night re-release by Fathom. Get hyped with our recent classic film review, written by yours truly, in which I call the film a timeless horror masterpiece that will continue to scare the shit out of every generation that follows. Hyperbole? You be the judge. Source

Just a little preface, we don’t condone the use of drugs and on that note we’re also not making light of these punters. They all look like their having a fun safe time and as far as we know they’re comfortable and considered in what they’re doing. TL;DR we’re not condoning drug use, but we’re also not ones to judge. There’s always someone in your travels that you run into and it’s obvious they’ve taken their ‘good time’ a little too far. This article is an ode to those who’ve accidentally taken it there and as such created some of the most viral video moments in dance music history. So without further ado, here are our 5 most cooked videos of people on drugs. 1. When these blokes gurned all over national Aussie television when the lockouts were first announced This was an iconic Australian TV moment and nothing anyone can say will convince us otherwise. These fellas were just a little excited at the prospect of the casino after a confusing introduction to the new lockout laws. 2. When this chick got completely entranced by some gloving To be fair, gloving is mesmerising when you’re sober, can’t imagine how anything else would affect you. 3. When old mate tried to light his lighter, a truly spectacular move Short and sweet, this guy wasn’t having a good night. 4. When this guy got deemed as the moist boss by Brown Cardigan Yeah look we don’t really get it either, but damn this guy’s a bit off it. 5. These two girls who had seemingly zero control over their facial muscles I don’t think we’ve ever seen someone as excited at the prospect of music as these two fezzie girls. These are some of our favourite moments but we know there’s an infinite amount more, so feel free to share them below. Once again and most importantly remember to stay safe out there! Source

Andrea Kelly and R. Kelly were married for well over a decade, from 1996 to 2009. However, during an interview on The View on Monday, Andrea accused her ex-husband of multiple counts of domestic abuse. She said was motivated to speak up after seeing other women come forward with similar accounts against R. Kelly. Speaking on camera, Andrea Kelly relayed one incident that took place in the back of a Hummer, in which R. Kelly allegedly thrusted his forearm into her neck. “I said, ‘Robert, you’re going to kill me. I can’t breathe,'” she recalled. “I just thought, ‘Oh my God. I’m going to die in the back of this Hummer.’” The harrowing encounter left her dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, she said. A separate, but similarly troubling instance saw R. Kelly “hogtying” Andrea Kelly to their bed, arms and legs bound together. The R&B singer eventually fell asleep, leaving her in that restrained position. Andrea Kelly said she had filed a protective order from her then-husband in 2005, claiming that he had hit her when she brought up the topic of divorce. It wasn’t until a few years later, however, when she finally filed for divorce. The final straw came when she, feeling trapped in her marriage, attempted to kill herself. “I went out on the balcony and I climbed up… One foot was on the railing and the other was on the wall… I looked down and God allowed me to see myself laying in blood,” she remembered. “That was my darkest moment… The fact that I was willing to leave [my children] let me know the best thing you have to do for you and your children to live is leave.” The divorce was made official in 2009, and the two haven’t spoken since. Andrea Kelly said she had attempted to go public with her accusations, but was met with victim-shaming and backlash. “People actually said, ‘She’s coming out because she needs money’ or ‘She didn’t say anything because she got money,'” she said. “There’s not enough money in the world for any woman to stay and get abused.” She decided to come forward on The View after hearing other women recount similar instances of abuse by R. Kelly. “You cannot not speak when someone’s life and what they’ve been through is parallel to yours,” said Andrea Kelly. “I wanted to bring validity to these women’s stories … I was like, ‘If no one else is going to speak up for her, if no one else is going to believe her, at least she knows that I do.’” Watch Andrea Kelly’s interview on The View below: Andrea Kelly, of course, is just one of many women who’ve accused R. Kelly of abuse. Over the years, he’s faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct and imprisonment. This past April it was revealed that the singer was under investigation for knowingly transmitting an STD to a 19-year old woman. In July, R. Kelly released “I Admit It”, a 13-minute song in which he addressed some of these allegations while maintaining his innocence. Source

Since launching his music career in 2015, Post Malone has scored multiple chart-topping hits such as “Rockstar”, “Better Now”, and “Congratulations”. Now, the rapper has his sights set on Hollywood, as he’s just signed on for his feature film debut. Post Malone will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Wonderland. The Beerpongs & Bentleys artist joins a cast that’s rounded out by Black Panther star Winston Duke, Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Bookem Woodbine, Hope Wilson and James DuMont. Wonderland is being adapted from Robert B. Parker’s Wonderland, which is part of the larger best-selling Spenser Series detective novels initially written by Robert B. Parker and then later continued by Ace Atkins. Wonderland in particular will follow “ex-convicted felon Spenser as he uncovers the truth about a sensational murder and the twisted conspiracy behind it,” per Variety. Sean O’Keefe is in charge of adapting the script. Peter Berg has been tapped to direct; it marks the fifth time he and Wahlberg have worked on-set together following projects like Patriots Day and this year’s Mile 22. Neal H. Moritz is producing Wonderland through his Original Film company with the help of Walhberg, Stephen Levinson, Berg via his own Film 44 company. Post Malone, who debuted a new, apparently headline-worthy haircut over the weekend, recently surpassed Michael Jackson’s Thriller for most weeks on the Top 10 R&B/hip-hop charts. Source

There really hasn’t been a personality or DJ like AJAX since the tragic passing of the legend a few years ago. The man could literally DJ anything and everything and his legacy will live on forever through Sweat It Out, the label he founded that discovered and broke RUFUS DU SOL, What So Not, Motez and so many more. After a cheeky throwback to AJAXs 2007 set from Parklife that was crammed full of electro goodies, there seemed to be some serious nostalgia stoked and sent us searching for any and all AJAX mixes that exist on the internet to plonk them into a single place for any old and news fans to explore, enjoy and most importantly DANCE to. The mixes run all the way back to 2003 with some b2b action with fellow Bang Gang alumni Beni, Dangerous Dan and Gus Da Hoodrat (grab all their mixes here) while more recent stuff is the famed ‘Dance Till Dawn’ mixtape that really set the standard for what odds and ends could jammed into just an hour long mix. What really sets these mixes a part is they existed before the advent of streaming and global promo servicing and really meant you’d have to be pretty special to cop something from your favourite producers. Get on your fluro, grab some pink hearts and dive into the goodness below! Source

I feel like it’s a bit of an understatement to say that Men are simple creatures. Not only are we at our happiest when our primal instincts are satisfied, you could stick a naked woman at the end of a corridor of death and 87% of males would run towards her with their jaws wide open. So, imagine how stoked you and your mates would be if you were able to go on this dream holiday to an island off the coast of Columbia, where you’ll be treated to unlimited sex, an extremely laid back approach to drugs and a bunch of other cool stuff. Good Girls Company, a brothel in Colombia, are the minds behind the “sex hotel”, which promises guests free food and drink, parties and more beautiful women then you can shake a stick at. If this entire thing doesn’t seem like an elaborate ruse to lead you to a remote island and potentially rob and murder you, then you must be the exact type of clientele they’re after. You’ll share the island with 30 other horndogs who had to go overseas to get laid, and providing you don’t mind seeing your “bro’s” boner than it could be an incredible bonding experience. I can’t link the promo they released here as it is simply too god damn raunchy for the sweet virgin eyes out there, but have a gander at this NSFW website if this article got your motor racing. Israeli DJ and Producer, Reem Taoz a.k.a GATTÜSO has found his home in New Jersey after beginning his electronic music journey in Lima, Peru. As infectious DJs were brought to his chic nightclubs within Lima’s high-end casinos, Reem grew a strong connection with dance music. After years of being charged by the music in his clubs and learning what makes the dance floor go off, he was ready to brew up his own sound in the studio. GATTÜSO GATTÜSO just released his third spell, “Dance Stay High”- a warm, inviting and groovy track that compels people to the dance floor. GATTÜSO “Dance Stay High” “Dance Stay High” pulls you in with comforting underground house music vocals by the lovely Lorensa, then wraps you up with gooey basslines and a bursting beat that will instantly get you moving. A melodic flourish of violin strings adds an unexpected, sophisticated touch-of-light on this readily accessible, thoroughly danceable song. Listen to GATTÜSO’s “Dance Stay High” ft. Lorensa (GATTÜSO Music): As the track drives deep, let go of all your preoccupations, dance and stay high as GATTÜSO’s spell is intended for you. GATTÜSO There’s a lot of heavy things happening in the news all over the country and the world right now, and I wanted to remind people that we can find beauty in our daily lives if we just remember to dance, love, and be kind to each other. Making songs with beautiful melodies and positive lyrics are super important to me and I really hope to connect with vocal-house music lovers all over the world with ‘Dance Stay High’! –Reem Taoz You can catch Reem’s message of this single through the bubble spewing army tank depicted on the cover art. “Dance Stay High” caters more to lovers of underground than his current hit, “Who We Are” featuring Myah, that is now featured on Spotify’s beloved mint station right next Duke Dumont, Tiësto, Illenium, Fisher and the best of them. After grabbing our attention with these two singles, we reached out to him to hear his story and better understand the true spirit of GATTÜSO. An exclusive interview with GATTÜSO, The Israeli Dance Floor Magician. GATTÜSO Congratulations on your single, “Who We Are” ft Myah, just being added to Spotify’s insanely popular ‘Mint’ playlist! That is huge! GATTÜSO: Thank you. I’m super excited that important tastemakers like Kramer from Spotify also like “Who We Are,” my first big radio single that’s also airing on rotation on at least FM and digital radio stations! Spotify has become like a big radio station, in that they are expert curators. Discerning tastemakers like Kramer are a vital component of the music industry today. On top of all that, he’s a really great and cool guy. How did the DJ name GATTÜSO come to life? GATTÜSO: [laughs] Everybody asks me that, but the truth is that I just like the way the name sounded, so I chose it. You’ve often said your creative “god” is Tiësto. What specifically about his sound or work ethic inspires you? GATTÜSO: Yes, definitely for me, Tiësto is like a god. I started following Tiësto in 2001 when he was playing pure trance. All these years, I’ve been following his music, career and his shows. I love to see how he plays, his energy, and all the time, he surprises me because each DJ set is so different. That’s what makes me feel inspired. Your single, “Who We Are” ft Myah, has gotten a lot of attention lately in the blogs, Spotify, Apple Music and even at radio. Is there anything else we can expect from that song? GATTÜSO: I’m glad that “Who We Are” is getting a lot of attention, and for that, I make music. Definitely the campaign for that song is not finished….in fact, I just released “Who We Are” the remixes and the new versions take the song in a totally different direction. I’m still pushing “Who We Are” via the press and radio because I believe that this song can be on the Billboard charts, soon! “Who We Are” has a great music video! What was the backstory behind that video shoot? GATTÜSO: My PR agent coordinated the music video as part of the promotion for the “Who We Are” single and she wanted to make a video that’s fun to watch. We shot it in Los Angeles and it was a great experience! What’s your songwriting process like? GATTÜSO: I always get new ideas in my head, so as not to forget my ideas, I record voice notes or ideas into my phone as they come to me. After I start to write the lyrics…definitely everything that I write about is part of my past, my future, my passion, my dreams, everything about me. I understand you were introduced to electronic music in Peru at the clubs and casinos you own. Have you noticed a difference in the electronic music scenes in Lima and the U.S.? If so, what are the differences and similarities? Also, what clubs or festivals in Peru and South America would you recommend? GATTÜSO: I moved here to the U.S. in 2015 and ‘til this time, the EDM scene [in Peru] was not so good. I saw Tiësto two or three times in Lima, but it definitely was not the same as seeing him in the U.S.! Now, I know Peru is hosting the “Road To Ultra” of Ultra Music Festival and people are starting to come onboard with electronic dance music there… How are you settling into New Jersey? What do you like most about being there? GATTÜSO: I love the relaxed life here, and I love the fact that I’m very close to the city and my studio there in Manhattan. All my life, I was living in big cities, so now living in New Jersey makes me feel very relaxed. Where can fans see you DJ’ing? (Name the clubs/cities/countries) GATTÜSO: At this moment, I’m very focused on making and releasing new music and earning fans. The next level would definitely be to start playing live shows. We’ve heard your DJ mixes on Dash Radio, KLUC-FM Radio in Las Vegas, Dance Factory in Chicago, WPRO-FM Radio in Boston and they are great and really make people want to get up and dance! What is your specific approach when you sit down to create a DJ mix? GATTÜSO: When I make a mix for my radio show, first I try to find a balance between new music, my own songs and the hits. I’m always thinking about the audience and trying to make them happy. Make sure to catch GATTÜSO in the mix during his weekly radio show on Dash Radio’s Electro City, Thursdays 7pm EST. As Reem‘s musical journey continues with the help of a highly reputable manager, Liquid Todd and a strong team, we can count on his music creating magic on the dance floor indefinitely. Show him some love by following him on his social media handles linked below and dancing when you hear his music in the clubs. Talk about a spicy sausage, $57 million worth of MDMA was found by Australian Border Officers in Sydney stashed in sausage making machines. From there the Australian Federal Police (AFP) were said to take over, replacing the MDMA with counterfeit drug packages and then directing a “controlled delivery” to a supermarket in Auburn, New South Wales following which three men were arrested. The three men are said to be part of an even larger syndicate involved in drug distribution throughout Sydney. This all comes just after stats have come out through the Australian Drug Trends Reports saying that young Aussies are taking more cocaine and higher potency ecstasy. With this big stash off the street do you think the average punter’s going to struggle to score some this weekend? For some reason we don’t really think so. Source

Corey Taylor has already told fans that 2019 will be devoted to Slipknot, and now, we’re getting more details on exactly what that means. Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s self-titled album, and in a new interview with Lazer 103.3, percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan said that the guys are making plans celebrate the seminal record. The album Slipknot arrived in 1999 via Roadrunner Records and was eventually certified double platinum by the RIAA. The album is considered by many to be the band’s official debut, but it was preceded by the independently released pre-Corey Taylor album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. in 1996. “Basically, we’re celebrating 20 years of the first album and we thought it would be cool to make some art on many different levels for the planet,” Crahan said. “We’ve been gone long enough, and I think it’s time people understand what’s really happening, so we’re putting together a little something for the 20th anniversary.” So, what exactly is Slipknot brewing up for the anniversary celebration? Crahan explains, “I can’t go into it too much, but every luxury has a price, so for those who make the journey, I guess those who are the ones who understand.” Switching gears to the next Slipknot studio album, Crahan says the band “did things a little bit different this time off.” “We made sure we made ourselves happy and making ourselves happy is we live for the song, we live for the stage, we live for the fans, we live for the art, but if it’s going to be a time we can create art, record songs, write songs, jam songs, we do it,” he said. “So, we’ve learned we’re obsessed with that process. We love chasing vision and art until it’s complete. It takes time.” He added, “We did ourselves a solid this time around and made sure the whole time off we could create and that’s what we did. It’s been awesome, and I think everybody is going to understand just how wonderful it has been the last two years to take the time off and create.” Metallica’s Top 5 Songs Tool’s Top 5 Music Videos Behemoth's Top 5 Songs Alice in Chains' Top 5 Videos Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy” Annotated Video Source

The Opera House is set to be lit “magnificently” tonight with a beautiful advertisement for a frankly cruddy horse race. Both Liberal federal and state leaders agree it’s for the the benefit of NSW. It’s kind of odd that despite 200,000+ people signing a petition to stop it from happening that all the leaders are singing from the same song sheet. Enter old mate Barry ‘no tears’ O’farrell. The disgraced premier of NSW who left politics after an ironically alcohol related incident. He’s now calling the shots as the CEO of Racing Australia and the leader of the organisation pushing for the advertisement to be displayed on a heritage listed building. It gets better, according to the Sydney Morning Herald recently released FOI documents show that tough new gambling laws were watered down for Racing Australia and it’s media partners including Seven West Media to allow them to continue popular and aggressive advertising tactics. Included in the documents were admissions that horse racing is “highly dependent on media distribution and promotional support which is in turn “dependent on wagering advertising”. All in all, appalling and saddening stuff. @StoneyRoads Thx for letting me know. #notearsshed — Barry O’Farrell (@barryofarrell) October 8, 2014 For those who’re keen to protest tonight, there’s an event happening at 8pm you can find more details about here. Showtime’s Shameless remains a huge ratings hit for the network, but the beleaguered family at the center of the saucy comedy is coming apart at the seams. Earlier this year, we reported that star Emmy Rossum would be leaving after the show’s ongoing ninth season. Now, co-star Cameron Monaghan, who plays middle child Ian Gallagher, has also announced his departure. Monaghan took to Instagram to speak his piece, saying that, despite knowing since last year, he wanted to save the news of his leaving so as not to spoil the current season. “The next episode will be my last,” he wrote on Monday. “This role has been a joy to inhabit, a wild and special ride, and I’d like to thank #Shameless as well as you, the viewers, for being there with him,” he wrote. He did, however, leave open the possibility that he’d return to the series. Goodbye, Ian Clayton Gallagher,” he added. “We’ll meet again?” There’s a good chance they will, as it’s clear that producer John Wells hopes to keep the series going. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, Wells has said that there are “a lot more Gallagher stories to tell,” and that he “could write this for another 10 years.” That’s the benefit of having a big ensemble to draw from, we suppose. That ensemble could continue to shrink, however. THR also notes that William H. Macy, who plays patriarch Frank, has said he feels he only has a few more seasons left in the tank. Whether it will get those seasons remains up in the air, as Showtime has yet to confirm its 10th season. See Monaghan’s full post below. Source

Taylor Swift has gotten plenty of heat over the years for not voicing any political opinions. The pop star broke her silence finally on Sunday night, posting a lengthy Instagram post in support of two Democratic politicians in the running in Tennessee. And, to the surprise of absolutely no one, Donald Trump is not happy about it. “In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,” Swift wrote. “I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights.” The Reputation singer then vowed to vote for Tennessee’s Phil Bredesen for Senate and Rep. Jim Cooper for House of Representatives, as well as urged the rest of her fanbase to follow suit and become politically active. “Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values.” Man-child Trump, perhaps the most powerful person in the world, has found time to address Swift’s political message. “Let’s say that I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now,” he told the press this afternoon. He also speculated “Swift doesn’t know anything about” GOP Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn, Bredesen’s opponent — despite the fact that Swift dedicated about half of her post to detailing Blackburn’s problematic record. Trump praised also Blackburn’s work, which has entailed voting against protections for women and the LGBTQ+ community. "Let's say that I like Taylor's music about 25% less now," Pres. Trump jokes following Taylor Swift's endorsement of Democratic Tennessee senatorial candidate Phil Bredesen. https://t.co/D0fh71pQFl pic.twitter.com/4qeR6fCZcr — ABC News (@ABC) October 8, 2018 Swift no doubt was moved to speak up following Brett Kavanaugh’s unfortunate Supreme Court confirmation over the weekend. She might also be troubled by the fact that Trump and one of her own past foes, Kanye West, have joined forces on the dark side. Earlier today, Fox & Friends claimed that Swift did not in fact write the political post herself. Source

Katy Perry’s Witness was a dud when it landed last year, and the pop star’s recent headlines have swirled around her feud with Taylor Swift and her involvement in the Kesha/Dr. Luke court battle. It makes sense, then, that the “Roar” singer would like to take a step away from the industry. In a new interview with Footwear News circling around her self-branded shoe line, Perry revealed that she has no intentions of going “straight into making another record.” Saying she’s “been on the road for 10 years,” the singer added, “I feel like I’ve done a lot. I feel like I’ve rung the bell of being a pop star very loudly, and I’m very grateful for that.” (Live Review: Katy Perry Shrugs Off 2017 at Miami’s American Airlines Arena (12/20)) She continued, “Well, I knew what I wanted to do when I was nine years old, so everything else became secondary to that. I didn’t really pay attention to anything besides my craft — which is great, and I love it. I love making music, I love writing. But I don’t feel like I’m a part of a game anymore; I just feel like I’m an artist. I don’t feel like I have to prove anything, which is a freeing feeling.” Read the full interview here, which is chock full of Perry’s thoughts on shoes, should that interest you. Source
