  1. aha thanks alot man i really appreciate those words , no excuses from now on
  2. hi guys im a 16 year old producer from Melbourne i made this song on my laptop with a pair of dj headphones so it is pretty raw but please listen and constructive feedback welcome. thanks https://soundcloud.com/ethanmansfieldofficial-1/pressure-original-mix
  3. hi guys im putting up my near new traktor kontrol s4 everything is there including original box and and manuals and i think there is still a bit over a year warranty left with it. im selling these due to needing money and getting into producing more than djing and there just not being used i will let them go for $750(negotiable) lowest and pictures can be provided for serious inquiry's. thanks.
  4. thanks buddy should have another one up soon and it will be of a higher skill level abit more interesting i hope
  5. http://www.jbhifi.com.au/pro-dj/alto/si ... sku-91115/ opinions in comparison to the behringers and mackies i was told in my local jb hi fi that yes audiolines are shit compared to mackies and behringers but he said i should give these some thought. so compared with the mackie thumps and behringers opinions, keeping in mind the use( house parties) thanks guys
  6. yeah max was an over exaggeration but i do want fairly loud speakers and i was reading and watching some reviews and some people were saying unlike the behringers the mackies struggle to get to a high volume. if this is true or not i dont know.
  7. i just need to know what ones would handle being pushed to the max at a house party?
  8. i probably wont be using them at low to mid volume often so that isn't much of an issue but if both of you guys strongly recommend mackie thumps ( 15s?) then i cant argue with experience. And those jbls are WAY out of my price range. yeah that's a good point! reality is ive seen a dj get away with using 5 inch audioline studio monitors so im sure the mackies or behringers would have the crowd pleased. how are the mackies in terms of power? and reliability and volume?
  9. ok thanks boys! you've helped a lot
  10. really because at storedj today they compared the mackie thumps and behringers for me and i thought the behringers were more full and low end and seemed to have a louder capability but the mackies i must admit had really crisp mids and highs. thanks for making my situation that little bit harder haha ok im going to do some research on the mackie thumps.
  11. yeah hiring is something to look into i guess but it would involve to much driving which other people would have to do for me it would be more simple to make the investment so i need to do it properly.
  12. "low end" as in price range or sound? haha new with this talk ok thankyou that answers my question perfectly haha some one with some personal experience not a sales man, i did read that come to think of it but why is there a difference in price range ? branding?
  13. ok so i have a situation. today i got given a quote from a dj store in Melbourne for a pair of behringers b115d's with stands that came up to $850 which in my opinion is a good price they even gave me a demo in the store which i was quite impressed with but then jb hi fi offer 15 inch audioline pa that are also powered but are about 150 more expensive per speaker, now i know these things are good because ive been at house parties with them and my ears were left ringing and the quality of the speaker really gets you on the dance floor which is what all dj's want right? so should i go for the cheaper 1000w pair of behringers or the more expensive 500w audiolines?(which are probably more reliable) im going to be hooking them up to my kontrol s4 and using them for house parties anywhere from 50-150 people and spaces the size of your typical suburban back yard. 12 inch is out of the question as i want the bass. can someone with experience with these speakers help me out please! thanks. the type of music ill be playing from these speakers is prog house, hard electro and some bangers( club beats ) i need them to be loud and bassy enough considering ill be lacking a floor sub. https://soundcloud.com/ethanmansfieldofficial-1
  14. hey guys, i just brought my self a traktor s4 and I've been having heaps of fun I've been practicing a fair bit the past week you know, dj practice first school second haha. anyway so I've got them set up with my Sony laptop and some Logitech's that push out awesome quality but no were near loud enough to be able to play at a public place like a party so I'm looking to the public of the internet for feedback as the only other source of feedback i can get is from my friends that listen to electronica and will appreciate it before looking the other way. so here is my first full planned out serious mix, yes i know its simple but its my first and less is more. https://soundcloud.com/ethanmansfieldofficial-1/sat-night-banger-minimix-1 youtube thanks!
