Hi all, Im selling my 'as new' Pioneer DJM800 mixer with road case and original box! yep, ORIGINAL BOX! lol To be honest, i used it about 10-15 times just to practice on but now have no need for it. i hear cdj 1000 mk3's are a pretty good unit If only i could get some for a good price! haha. I think im over burning CD's, kills my life rocking up to venues that dont have a usb port gear!!!! haha

Hey guys and gals, I have two (almost new condition) CDJ1000's MK3 that i am getting rid of. Not really sure what they go for these days? They have only ever been used at my house. Bought second hand road cases few months back thinking i was going to take them on the road with me but that never happened lol. Best headphones ive used. Ive tried the Pioneers and Denons and nothing compares to the Sennheiser HD25C MkII. Spend the money people. Well worth it!

production is fine because i can just do it in abelton. Im talking about my music on my cd's that i mix. i like to do mashups so im thinking normalising most of my music to the same bpm tempo will give me that little bit extra so i dont have to worry about it too much. I know heaps of other djs that do it, so i was thinking it could be a good plan lol

yeah i mean the actual speed of the track. Sorry should of been more specific. Im just finding the more i mash up and sample on the fly, having the tracks as close to lets say a 130 bpm count makes it sooooooooo much easier. But i agree, by ear is far the best way to beat match. Just having that extra bit of closeness on the tempo would help heaps im thinking. Haven't converted any of my tracks yet, but im hoping it will make life easier behind the decks.

Id do it just for the scenery! lol

Hey all, Just wondering what the best freeware application is to change the bpm on mp3's etc. Is there a software out there that can do in in bulk? Im finding that different software packages gives you a different bpm reading on the same mp3's. Weird.

Hey mate, What are the road cases like? or is it just the one road case? You have a pic of it?

I always assumed if your buying the tracks from your beatports, juno etc then you are able to distribute the music for non-profit purposes? Ive been told if you label your demos with something on the lines of "for promotional use only" then you are ok? i could be wrong... thoughts?

Hey mate, Decided to keep them hey. Just can't justify spending the $$$ on something i haven't even played on yet (cdj2000's). As soon as i get a hit on the 2000's and if i like them, will sell up my kit for sure though.

Yeah thinking of the 2000's hey. I played on 900's the other day and they seem pretty cool. The DJ before me just came with a USB drive and off he went. Was awesome. But then again, my 1000's feel so much more crisp and responsive than the 900's. Never played on 2000's but. Any good?

Yeah tell me about it... but all the flashing lights are surely worth the money? ;-) lol
