Cupe Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 The duo are known for having a strong rock, funk and electro influence in their energetic live shows. This same reputation led to them featuring on some of Australia’s biggest stages including Future Music Festival, Stereosonic, Summafieldayze, Global Gathering, Kiss My Grass, We Love Ministry of Sound and main stages at both Summadayze and Parklife and also appearing alongside international acts such as Steve Aoki, Knife Party, The Chemical Brothers, Empire of the Sun, Autoerotique, Tai, Nari & Milani, Dirty South and Fedde Le Grande. In January 2011 the duo took out the Australia wide Inthemix remix contest, with their remix of Tonite Only’s single We Run The Nite. Over the last three years Polyfonik have also released remixes for Shabang Records, Tuff Em Up! Records, G-Note Records [50 Cent], Sony Music, Ministry Of Sound, Onelove, Neon Records and Vicious Recordings. In between releasing countless remixes over their 7 year existence, Polyfonik have been working tirelessly to create a sound like no other. Their passion to be unique and to release original music they can be proud of has been the driving force behind their work ethic. Drawing inspiration from music gods Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Queen, Michael Jackson, ELO, Daft Punk and Justice there is no doubt the duo are not far off cracking the formula they’ve been seeking. Not the type to talk about their achievements so far, the duo’s focus lies not on commercial success, but on creating world class music.https://www.facebook.com/shabangrecords Quote
