Dutch duo Yakumo, like many producers, create their music via an elaborate patchwork of analogue hardware and when the duo performs it’s done with the same analogue ethos in mind with an array of hardware to layer, build and, ultimately, create their music live.

This analogue approach bleeds directly into the own productions, with the duo’s latest ‘Soulfire’ managing to blend techno rhythms with luminous tropical melodies for a cut of forward thinking tech-house that proves that techno can be tropical too.
