VHS Collection’s ‘Ghost’ is indie-tinged disco at its best

VHS Collection are, well, were not entirely sure, they’re from New York that much we do know, and their latest summer-tinged jam (yes, this is a certified jam) is all about New York City “and the reaction that we had returning to the city we grew up in after being away for so long,” explains the group.

Catchy lyrics take the lead on ‘Ghost’ but it’s actually the choice of synths, backing vocals, and lush harmonies that elevate this particular track above the parapet compared to a lot of what we hear on a daily basis.

We’ll be keeping an eye on VHS Collection and should too.
