Nat Geo has just greenlit a 12 part docuseries called The Curiosity of Jeff Goldblum that will see Jeff travel the world in a state of constant fascination to unravel the mystery of seemingly simple everyday objects. Bonza! “Goldblum takes us on his unconventional ride, tackling experiments, busting myths and encountering scientific experts to reveal the astounding science that lies right beneath our eyes,” National Geographic wrote in a press release. “This series is the perfect platform for Jeff to use his uniquely infectious and approachable charm to take viewers on an unexpected and surprising journey,” Courteney Monroe, CEO of National Geographic Global Networks, said in the release. According to the man himself, Nat Geo drew him in due to their ability to create smart and immersive narratives about our understanding of the world. “Curiosity is a fundamental human trait; the show puts me in the driver’s seat, guiding viewers on a mind-blowing adventure where we break down the unexpectedly complex science behind seemingly basic things.” You can expect daddy Jeff to dive into some pretty heart stopping things, including ice cream, baseball, subways, cereal, even toilet paper.
