Chance The Rapper hops on Reeseynem’s debut music video, “What’s the Hook.”

While patiently waiting for Chance the Rapper‘s upcoming album, fans need something to tide them over. Aside from starting in DJ Khaled‘s mass collaboration with Quavo and Justin Bieber, Chance also released four singles in sucession — just because. He brought Chicagoist and is set to star in a new movie, Slice, directed by his long-time collaborator Austin Vesely.

Chance has also taken a feature spot in a new music video, “What’s the Hook,” for fellow Chicago rapper, Reeseynem. The upbeat, horn-driven track was produced by Nate Fox and Trap MoneyBenny. Reesey’s laid-back vocals set the tone for Chance to come in hard, and he does — there’s no way around it. This is a Chance verse for the books. Starting at 2:25, Chano picks up his words-per-minute and ends it with a WILD high note on “SLIIIIIIIIDE.” Reeseynem & Brooklyn Wheeler directed the block party music video, adding to the song’s authentic and independent vibe.
