Cupe Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Vancouver based EDM lord Ekali has taken to Twitter to blast homophobia and “hateful gay rehetoric” being left on his content. His first tweet about the situation simply said, “If you’re homophobic my music isn’t for you. Kindly fuck off.” He then followed this up with another tweet wherein he came out as bisexual and mentioned how sick he was of homophobic comments on his music and posts. “Yes I’m bisexual. Stop leaving hateful gay rhetoric on my content. Thank you.” This has once again brought up the problem of bro-culture and homophobia in EDM and we’re keen to hear what you think!
