There’s a new job going at Spotify where you get to make playlists

This is not a drill folks, Spotify has listed a job for an Editor | Music Programmer. It’s time to put all those hours of playlist making in bed until 3am to good use!

The job sounds like the stuff of dreams, involving curating content and playlists with a focus on domestic artists and genres. While it sounds pretty cruisey there’s no doubt that a lot would be expected of you, and it asks for 5 years of music industry experience and asks you to be able to “lean on a good reputation and a strong network within the Australian and New Zealand music industry”.
