Cupe Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Who knew we’d get five new singles from Disclosure in a week? Or one of the best debut EPs in EDM with 1788-L? Or another amazing live album from Justice? EDM fans ate last week, and Your EDM‘s Week in Music has all the goods for your listening pleasure. Release Spotlight Disclosure dropped so much heat this week. Five new singles in five days, and all of them of exceptional quality. We included “Love Can Be So Hard,” an 80s-inspired synth jam. 1788-L finally released his debut EP S E N T I E N C E, full of glitchy, bass-heavy monsters. Featuring from the EP is “F O R C E / I M P U L S E,” a standout solo track from the EP. Bassnectar teamed up with Vindata for “The Mothership.” Feelings on Bassnectar’s recent Twitter rants aside, this track packs a lot of heat. Legendary electronic composer Jean-Michel Jarre dropped the new track “Coachella Opening,” named after the opening track he played during his Coachella set this year. Justice released their third live album Woman Worldwide, a studio version of their Woman world tour. We included “Love S.O.S. (WWW),” the live version of the “Love S.O.S.” track.
