EDM Reacts To The Unexpected Death of Mac Miller

Music lost another amazing talent today in Mac Miller. The 26-year-old superstar died from an apparent drug overdose, according to reports.

It seems the entire music world is grieving as we remember a true talent, one of hip hop’s greatest voices, and what many consider a legend. Words from The Chainsmokers, Alison Wonderland, The Glitch Mob Snails and more are a testament to Mac Miller’s impact on the industry.

Jauz speaks up about the real issue here: “This shit has to stop. I know our culture has a lot of drug use and I’m not trying to tell you what to do with your lives, but please, if you’re going to do ANYTHING, at a show or a festival or whatever, at least get it tested. Be safe.”

Miller has struggled for years with substance abuse. Most recently he was arrested for a DUI in May when he wrapped his car around a utility pole.

His latest album Swimming came out just a month ago. RIP.
