ADJF Progressive House top 10 Challenge Mixes!

Recommended Posts

Had a few days off with Cyclone Yasi, couldn't think of a better way to use the spare time than work on this mix.

Progressive House Top 10 Mix by Hobberz

Tracklist:

1. Sax@Arena (Original Mix)

2. Missing (Fedde Le Grande Remix)

3. Drop That Beat (Original Mix)

4. Tequila Sunrise (Original Mix)

5. Groovy Baby (Hard Rock Rock Sofa Remix)

6. MDF (Original Mix)

7. Bridge (Original Mix)

8. Get On The Move (Alex Kenji Remix)

9. Grand Theft Ecstasy (Original Mix)

10. Tam Tam (Original Mix)

So basically I sat down and listened to all the tracks one by one, and than started to construct my mix. Basically had a play around trying to find out what worked with what and where to drop and fade etc. Basically took small notes during the process and than went for it until I was happy with what I had recorded. Overall had a blast spending time doing it, and it helped take my mind off the cyclone. Look forward to these comps being more regular on ADJF and good luck to everyone else having a crack.

Well here's mine:

ADJF Progressive House Top 10 Challenge by Streetcleaner

Tracklist:

1.) Afrojack Vs Tocadisco - Tequila Sunrise (Original Mix)

2.) Daishi Dance, Mitomi Tokoto - Sax@Arena (Original Mix)

3.) Everything But The Girl - Missing (Fedde Le Grande Remix)

4.) Tune Brothers, Plastik Funk - Groovy Baby (Hard Rock Rock Sofa Remix)

5.) Afrojack & Bobby Burns - Bridge (Original Mix)

6.) Andrea Bertolini - Drop That Beat (Original Mix)

7.) Stars On 45 - Stars On 45 (Olav-Basoski-Remix)

8.) Manuel De La Mare & Marshall - Tam Tam (Original Mix)

9.) Funky Junction & Chris Kaeser & Stonebridge - MDF (Original Mix)

10.) Feed Me - Grand Theft Ecstasy (Original Mix)

No particular reason why I VETO'ed the other 2 tracks, just didn't like them as much. Had a bit of trouble starting out as Grand Theft Ecstasy is such a good opening track but also the best closing track, but after I worked out how I'd kick the mix off it was all sweet.
