street Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 I remember saying something similar on the last track you posted, as I felt there was a similar problem with it, but there needs to be more dynamic range between the build and drop coz when the drop comes around it doesn't really hit. fill up the noise spectrum or whatever you call it as much as you can without making it sound like shit on the first beat of the drop. Bass kick, cymbal crash, 808 boom, a down sample, or maybe a kick with a heap of reverb on it (though I havent tried it but heard some sick reverb kick samples that sound massive).rest is sick though, you have some beast synth sounds.
