SourceRaver Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 Have no experience with the first scanners but they have allmost the same features of a GENI 250, one of my favourite types of scanner.Main differences between the two are:Lamp - The second scanner is LED so will have a huge 'lamp' life but I'm not sure how bright they would be in comparison to the first scanner (250W halogen).Dimmer - The first scanner can be dimmed (probably a shutter of some kind in front of the lamp) wheras its not mentioned with the second scanner. In tems of pragramming a lighting show, you can use the dimmer fuction to create some great chases.Rotating Gobos - Not mentioned in the second scanner.
