  1. eggs: nah these are not for djing, just for personal use. Home and walking with the ipod. But im a fussy cat with a budget you know? So yeah i agree with the fact that single cord puts strain on the cable. I would just hate to buy em, press play and find out they are not the HD 202's i once brought. knowing i could have spent the few extra $ -thanks though aye
  2. Ok, so i brought some Sennheiser HD 202's a few years back for about $100 and i think they are great. Yesterday the left headphone started cutting out so i guess their day is up. I went to JB-hifi and they are now $50 (bargain?). I was wondering if they are cheaper because there are now new models, or more importantly is it because as with alot of big brands, they are now making them with cheaper parts and they do not sound as good. Or is it worth a few more $ for some Sennheiser HD 448's. ...JB wont take any out of the packet so i can listen, hence the thread. Feedback appreciated!
  3. Welcome DJ_Capsss. I dont think your a fake, if your enjoying what your doing and other people do to. Thats all that matters. No matter how its done. Good place to be this is
  4. Nice work Spitfire. I looked a bit into Shranz, Im not sure if some of the stuff like Toecutter fits into it though. Shranz just seems a bit repetitive and heavy bass, where Toecutter and other people like The Disneyland Escape Plan (whom i think may fit under the same genre) are more quirky? I much prefer your music on soundcloud spitfire, its neat'o
  5. to me its really a beat modulation. but hey.. i know this really does not belong in a 'dj' forum. i was just curious about the original questions.
  6. well, he played it live last time i saw him. live mini mix? I know its kinda brutal, there is just a soft part of my soul that loves it. You cant play it out load. My girlfriend wont let me... ha. thanks though, i was thinking no one was going to say anything but "shit."
  7. ha, ok title said it all. Now im sorry if this is in the wrong thread, it probally should be in 'The Music' section but the problem is, i dont know what genre this fits under. Im new to this and just have no idea. And i want to know. Now this is Toecutter, he comes down to Tasmania a few times a year and we have a ball when he is down. Im sorry about the Aqua mix but he does not put much out. What does this fit under? What do you think? ...im ready
  8. Well, im taking the plunge. Its pay day after all & that's whats its all about. Thanks for the feed back guys. When going onto ebay, it suggested i should look at this: its called an i-Pad of all things.. hrm, yeah right..
  9. Hey m4n - good place to be this is
  10. Thanks Spitfire. Triggering is all my purpose. I saw not long ago a guy on youtube complain that his broke after a month. but the way the dude was handling it and throwing it around. im not sure if it was because that or the buttons cant take long term use?
  11. no i meant P&H from ebay. unless StoreDJ sell for you. cause i was talking about re-selling. i really should look at that site. will do now..
  12. yeah, well maybe. i mean could sell it for $70, but then with P&H its going to be 2nd hand for the same price as new. But knowing me there is a good chance ill buy one anyway, Ill wait to see if anyone has had experience in playing around with them..
  13. No worries DJaz. They say location, location, location. ..they were right eggs, yeah its a little Kaosilator thing, kinda neat. kinda not. oh well, $100 gamble dont seem that bad.
  14. So i was thinking about buying a Korg NanoPad for simple off the side sample triggering drum loops. It seems like a good price for what it is. Problem is I don't know anyone that has one & there are no shops around my area that have them in stock so i cant physically get a feel for it. Anyone know if this little $80 button board is any good when push comes to shove? -cheers
  15. well its the next day. Thanks all for the welcome! Even if i am unsure about the condom head thing
  16. Hey all from Tasmania Hobart Saw this was the place to meet & greet. So hey. Looking forward to hearing what everyone's doing & what ever is next -cheers
