Apparently these two are playing at UTS this Friday. Only found out about this today and I'm pretty excited. These two are some of the biggest dubheads in the UK, so if your into dub, or if your not it doesn't matter you should definately check them out.

Haha yeah, one of my mates got banned from illawarra for doing the cockroach and he wouldn't stop and he started kicking the secos. Another mate got banned from the same place cause he got kicked out, somehow managed to get on the roof and jumped into the smoking area

Ok so I know there are a few ableton lovers on here, and Im sure more will come so I thought there shpould be thread dedicated to using as a production tool. Here is the place to post all things helpful to do with live. EG. tutorials, live packs, and just general tips that people might find helpful, like Tomy's kick thing but with a bit more ableton in it. So dont be shy, contribute.

Like I said, you cant use the mixer with computer but you can change the settings to the external mixer setting. This will allow you to use any mixer connected to your two cd players, but all you can use is the crossfader, and maybe the channel volume, cant remember. So its shit cause you cant use any of the mixers effects and the cd players dont have that many effects. You also cant use the EQs whch are very important.

Just looking at the mixer, it doesnt say that it is MIDI capable. This means you wont be able to plug it into your computer. You can adjust your settings in traktor to have an external mixer, but this renders the mixer completly useless except for the crossfader. That means a lot of clicker on crappy effects and such, which is gay. You should probably just buy the hardware.

Right, I dont know much about dvs but I thought it didnt work without the hardware

why would you want to plug the rmp into your computer if you are getting traktor? You will have no need to plug anything into your comp if you have traktor

Dude I've listened to metal since year four and it's all the same. Different sub genres just do it differently. Hardcore and metalcore definately have the best breakdowns though.
