  1. just be honest with them... "The c***s destroyed my needles (costing me $160 to replace), made me pay for a cable I never use and people kept f***ing with my gear, want me to play for you it's gonna cost ya" worst case scenario you don't play and have a good time at a party getting messed up!! Main reason I rarely play house parties is due to worrying too much about the equipment I saved forever for.
  2. meh... no big deal, just wanted to check
  3. nope i tuned in from about 8.15 - 9.30 and nothing
  4. so i'm not scheduled this week? my mix isn't streaming
  5. I'll still most likely download (paying for) all my albums. Convenience.
  6. 6 months
  7. I've always used the Shure M447's great tracking and decent sound
  8. a nice deep house track is Fred Everything feat. Wayne Tennant - Mercyless (Atjazz Mix)

  13. yeah not looking at the 3700, I think the 1200 or 3500 will be all i need, don't need mass bells and whistles.
  14. Yeah I might just spend an hour playing with one in the store. I think they have modes though so you can change from vinyl mode to something similar to pios.
  15. repeat last weeks set due to "technical difficulties"?
  16. hey guys, I'm considering getting a cd player and am looking at somethingg like the Denon 3500. anyone had any experience with them? i'll probs go with denon as i reallyy cant justify paying over a grand for a cd player (it'll mainly be an addition to my vinyl addiction, not main source of music). Any thoughts?
  17. yeah i'd rather sound a bit more Australian lol
  18. nope... gotta get some time to pick up a comp mic from dicksmith to do it myself.
  19. extreme scam dude, rule is if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. you see these big lists of equipment for cheap prices all the time, and they're bogus as man...if you really want these type of set ups you're just gonna have to save!!
  20. I'm willing to split these if anyone is interested, PM me and I can work out prices.
  21. did you receive mine last week?
  22. hahaha, why'd you have to go and start this timeless debate. Simple answer use what you want...makes no difference. I use vinyl mostly, but also use serato at times. Eventually I aim to get some cd players but at the moment vinyl does what it does for me. I prefer vinyl, but can see benefits from cd's (such as looping, cue point) but apart from that it makes no difference. tramonte: vinyl addict.
  23. yeah i'm gonna grab a cheap computer mic during the week and do just that.
