Yea its usually not the popular clubs. but it is where you will see the inventive, creative DJ that plays his own style and doesn't care what everyone else thinks of that style of music. You will find some really good DJs in underground clubs

Underground clubs are as you said dedicated to one style of music that usually isn't "mainstream" like dubstep, trance ETC. its the clubs that draw the same crowd of music lovers each week, that go to listen to good DJs show their style, and don't just go with the trends, or play top 40 music.

are there many good underground clubs in melbourne?

Has anyone been mouthed because they didn't play someones song or something like that while working in a club?

In most DJ related forums you've be crucified for not using the "search" function or first reading the "stickies". But we're all friendly here (most of us anyway). Hahaha He's right about that! your a lucky man that it happened here. otherwise..... :axe:. but yea man do some reading so you know what your talking about before you get all caught up in buying gear

yea i am persisting. playing at a couple of house parties where there isn't so much pressure, and just having a good time. which is what DJing is all about \:D/.... and the free beer you get from playing in clubs

youtube was the way for me, and ADJF, still a bit scratchy on some areas but getting there

you could of been paralysed from the waist down and spent you whole life in a wheel chair, and you would of gotten less sympathy then if you broke your arm and had it in a cast for a couple of weeks
