As it stands I'm looking at getting my first rig and the 2 contenders atm are the numark mixtrack pro used or a new Hercules steel with tractor pro. ThatPartyGuy Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 great starter would be mixtrack pro. i got one and it was one of the best to start off with. its bigger but you have room to move around instead of breaking your fingers trying to press multiple buttons. The mixtrack pro seems to be popular around here. Does the Hercules steel have a soundcard?the Hercules doesn't have a sound card which is a deal breaker for me, the mixtrack pro does have a sound card.unless you want to fork out a little more for a external sound card, i'd suggest going with the mixtrack pro.
