(not quite rap & hip hop but nowhere else fits)

i knew they were working on a second album (they had a failed kickstarter attempt to document it), but forgot all about it. comes out in sept. wuhu :dflusta:

Fresh off a national tour with Mac Miller (they also served as his back band), Chance The Rapper, Action Bronson, and Earl Sweatshirt, The Internet is proud to announce their second full-length album, Feel Good, which will be released via Odd Future Records on September 24th. To celebrate, the band is sharing Partners In Crime Part Two from the record. While their first album, Purple Naked Ladies, consisted primarily of production and vocals, Feel Good sees founding members Matt Martians and Syd "The Kyd" expanding to a full band and a bolder sound. Additionally, The Internet worked with a range of guest vocalists and musicians such as Mac Miller, Yuna, and Jesse Boykins the III. They also worked with producers such as Thundercat, Chad Hugo (The Neptunes), and Grammy-nominated guitarist and producer Mike Einziger. Guitar on Partners In Crime Part Two is played by Jeff Gitelman who is a member of The Stepkids and has previously played guitar for the likes of Alicia Keys and Ford and Lopatin. Stay tuned for artwork track listing and album highlight "Dont'cha" which features production from Chad Hugo and Mike Einziger.
