Ashok Posted February 2, 2014 Share Posted February 2, 2014 Hi guys,Signed up to this forums ages ago, but only found time now to start focusing on my DJing, so hopefully I can be a useful contributor to these awesome forums Now, I've been listening to a lot of old school house music lately, basically anything DAVID MORALES touches, I'm really digging the analog sound, the live instruments, great percussion, etc.A few questions for you:1) Are you BRAVE enough to throw in a few soulful songs into your Top 40 mixes? I'm experimenting with this, but the sound is so different to the current EDM sound that I don't want to lose the crowd before I can win them over with tight mixing.2) Do you think there will be a trend towards older house music? I think today's music is too loud and people will slowly get turned off by it and gravitate to older music which has more space to "breathe".
