Alpine4WDer Posted October 14, 2015 Share Posted October 14, 2015 We have had a large amount of sound/lighting technical gear stolen from our storage shed in Sale, Victoria in the last 3 weeks while we were in WA – the padlock was cut off and our stuff taken.Can people please keep an eye out for:2x Yamaha sw 500 powered subs2x Yamaha br152x Yamaha sr15Yamaha cube amp mixer4x Martin scx500 scanners2x ibeat d strobesVarious fx lights3x 1 type2x storm bird fx lightsMartin xciter lighting deskMartin magnum 800 smoke machineMartin xciterIf anyone comes across someone selling gear like this or in bulk amounts please let us know!! Or please, if you are buying gear on this list, ask for a purchase receipt from the seller as it may be stolen! The thief is missing the manuals etc to go with this stuff, and also left behind most of the leads and connections. They also left most of the road cases behind, preferring to empty them instead.Some of the gear is in well used condition, other bits bought new and not yet showing large amounts of wear; most of the gear had easily recognised test tags on it (although I would imagine they will be taken off), and it is obviously all highly valued and needed for use next month.It is possible that the thief may try to sell it on in Melbourne or interstate, so recovery will be unlikely. Please keep an eye out for us though!!!If anyone has any leads or information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all, greatly appreciated!!
