pride Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 All depends on the venue. Some places will laugh at you if you ask for a % of Bar. Others will offer. Its a hard one but when I do events (if its at a new venue) I will arrange for me to take the door and they keep the bar. If it goes well for a few nights and they are doing REALLY well on the bar then I will renegotiate the terms.A good idea though is to start out with the intent to break even (if that).
