Short 5 Track Mini Mix - July 2011

Hey Guys,

Took a few of your comments on from my debut mix, and thought i'd have a bit of a crack at putting something else together, let us know what you reckon.

The main purpose for these is just feedback for improvement so please comment with your thoughts, where i can make it better, improve technique etc.

Recorded in traktor using mixtrack pro

(Hopefully that embeds properly)

Nice work mate.

Trans 1: Not bad, I think you need to play with the levels a bit more though.

Trans 2: Nice mate, I probably would of dropped Little Bad Girl after the build up with the siren in Bam Bam Bam. But still a good transition regardless.

Trans 3: Pretty good to. Only thing I dont like about the long intro with Bounce is it looses energy I feel.

Trans 4: Good work.

Nice stuff, overall its a pretty good mix.

Echoing what Hobberz said about transition one, was fine, you just need to have the opening song eq'd out over a gradual process, and not so suddenly, otherwise you've done well

Hobberz and pundaddy pretty much covered what I was thinking.

In the first transition, the incoming track's sudden drop may have worked if the build up to it was longer and more dramatic. Just another suggestion
