tramonte Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 was a good day overall,As usual I missed out on a few acts which I had planned to see.I got to see Jesse Rose (although wanted to see soulwax instead). He was pretty good, although had some shitty MC over the top of alot of his tunes.Next I went and saw Blackalicious who were fantastic, small crowd made it even better.I stayed for a bit of Plump Djs but the sound was terrible and they didn't really build up the vibe for me.Went wondering for a bit, then made my way back for Dizzee Rascal's set. It was a good set although the place was packed out! couldn't even move, personally I think it is hard to enjoy an act when you have to worry about someone pushing through you every 10 seconds. kinda wish I had gone and seen 2 many dj's instead, but dizzee still rocked it!Next venture is Sensation/Summadayze double (30 Dec/01 Jan), Days Like This (04 Jan) and Good Vibrations (14 Feb).
