Soz mate. You can use a program like Cool Edit which is free. You can load your mix into that and cut out your intro from your mix and save it as a seperate file. that way you will have it to change and use. Cool Edit will also give you a huge range of effects and things to warp your sounds. I hope this helped a little more..

chop it out of your mix with soundforge or something similar? save as an mp3 or wav and change it anyway you want.

^ on a bump to this and what i said about Mp3 Gain, im guessing Mp3 Gain's purpose is to boost the gain so there are peaks in the track. But i noticed today that Fruity Loops recordings (even with EQ's changed) has a very flat waveform on recordings. Anyone else get this or have ideas or solutions on fixing that?

so today i been making a few home made backing tracks on fruity loops. setting them around the 140bpm area to use in traktor for use. Problem; when i put them into traktor i get this annoying ass message "Cannot detect BPM due to missing transients. Please analyze first" Problem 2; i assume traktor has already analyzed the track from what i can tell because it says 140bmp. It will work in a sample slot but it wont grid it on the decks. (i have also analyzed manually and the message still comes up) after combing through the net all i have seen is if the track is to quite or to short this problem can happen. So i changed both and im still getting the message. Help fellas?

ya, but now hot cue's can go other places (which is good cause there aren't lots of em) and the 'Seek Button' set to reset just adds exactly what i was looking for

^ CoolEdit is a great starter. I started producing diff stuff on CoolEdit long time ago. Having pirated copies of anything you use will do nothing for your future career i can assure you of that

yar, i know. I was just looking to get a more simple means, like one button. Its not really something i do very much anyway, just skipping back the the start of the track. But i like having options, and buttons for the options If i could do it, i would prefer

So far so good. been doing a little reno on Traktor with my own controllers blah blah. I want to be able to map out the command for going back to the start of the track. you know the button that looks like |< anyway i cant find it, i don't even know if its there. feedback pls
