  1. I seem to be the only one that doesn't do this lol
  2. Pop a compressor on it. Fiddle around with the settings until you find one that stands out. I bring up the low end on the eq and put a transient designer on there. They work well too
  3. Mp3 is fine. I have a few aiff files from mates tunes but the average person won't hear the difference. If you wanna do a bootleg it's probably a good idea to get aiff
  4. Don't take offense to this but you shouldn't be thinking about the money because it's not going to come and if it does it's not millions. Sharpen up your skills and be the best you can be at your craft. Feel free to go explore new genres and mixing techniques but get out there and have fun doing it. If you're lucky enough the money will come
  5. I usually dedicate on a day off or a Sunday. Go full ball and then a few hours after work (if I can) use it to finish off the track(s)
  6. Thanks bud
  7. This is the first track of 2013. Download it, share and all that stuff! http://soundcloud.com/spitfiremusic/we-think-its-cool
  8. Cheers tomy
  9. If you're not sure about it head to your local music store that has a traktor or serato set up and have a play around with the features. These days it's not really hard to pick up but you're gonna have to develop your own little style that stands out from the rest. Traktor would be your best option as there's a lot of support for it out there.
  10. Cheers Addi
  11. Thanks man
  12. New moombah colab almost done! Gonna decide with my mate what the plan is but here's the rough master http://soundcloud.com/jaikai/rock-that-rough-master
  13. I've gotten grips on the new layout and it works pretty well. I haven't had any issues
  14. Ah bummer. Was gonna ask when you're heading back but I now know lol I'll catch up with ya at BYP if you play the week you get back
  15. I've seen a code so gonna make the most of it. So far I've seen some cool stuff but there's a lot of garbage too :/
  16. Nice. Got the foreign beggars stuff and it's sick! I'm not working tomorrow so gonna go old school and sit on beatport all night
  17. Will look into. I'll be looking for some real smashing electro too. Got an email for a demo. Have no idea who's who in electro anymore lol
  18. So, tonight in gonna go on a bit of a beatport spree (something I haven't done in about 8 months) and was wondering if there's anything worth checking out. I'm good for any genre
  19. Angerfist would be awesome to see live
  20. Yeah sorry dude had to do that earlier. There's a few legalities as its going into a competition
  21. Thanks dude. Yeah we can talk and I can make a loop for ya
  22. I've been involved in making music for a short film and I'd like to share one of the parts here but have no idea where to put it! I'm going to chuck it here so if you wanna move it than go for it. Just wanna see what you guy's think. I've written music for plays but this is my first short film I've written for. http://soundcloud.com/spitfiremusic/confrontation-scene-home-open
  23. Hey guys just thought I'd share my new tune with ya's. it's an unmastered low quality mp3 so you'll need to turn up the levels. I've been working on an EP for a while but I've wanted it to have meaning rather than throwing a few tracks together. I thought I'd share up one of those tracks for a bit of a taste of what the EP will be like before it all goes ahead http://soundcloud.com/spitfiremusic/when_life_breaks_down_wip/s-g9MOK
  24. I've had it for a while and it took me a good 10mins to work it all out. It's not bad once you get your head around it. My library looks cleaner with it so I like it haha
