both are excellent, i like the "crates" in serato and the gui in general i prefer, however i liked the wav form in traktor better but the ssl coloured one is starting to grow on me

you can hook up decks and mixer to hercules you know? and just use it as a soundcard to stream tracks to? personally that's what id'e do and then maybe get rid of hercules/ laptop if you decided to? example: or just get a set of tt's and serato control vinyl- run through virtual dj eg: (was looking into it ages ago when i was thinking about getting an rmx) hope this helps

heres what you do. sheet of wood, (bunnings) $~10? 2 handles (bunnings) $~5 3 velcro loops stapled down $~5 (probs bunnings also) (attached is a highly technical blueprint of what i mean) pretty much wood with handles screwed on, and 3 velcro loops stapled on to thread you cables though and keep em neat/ clean very practical/ cheap/ effective

maybe just use MOS cd's as a guide for buying some new traks, that's kinda what i do, if i like the genre or the dj mixing it ill buy it, gives me ideas too, good for banging on in the car etc.
